You'd think that if people liked the second world war so much they could be more creative in it. There aren't any games where you can play as the French going on espionage and sabotage missions. Why can't aliens invade or something? Or some sort of Nazi super-science causes mass zombies?
And why aren't there any good shooters set during the Great War?
Don't believe a word of it. It's a very good game. It's also possible to get the wrong impression about a certain element of it if you don't finish it. You can actually catch which reviewers didn't play the whole game by whether or not they mention it.

I loved the first modern warfare, but modern warfare 2's campaign, while still fun, seemed a bit ridiculous (playing as a terrorist and slaughtering civilians as an objective? Russia launching a foot soldier attack on America in the next five years? Something about that just doesn't fit outside of an alternate reality setting in which Russia and America are still at each others throats which the game didn't seem to say it is. Russia would NOT declare war on America because one American soldier aided a group of Russian terrorists) But besides the campaign, spec opps just didn't seem to compare to Nazi Zombies. Oh well, I still like mw2 and I play it with my friends all the time. I have nothing major against it.
I still hope that call of duty 7 will be the middle ground between 5 and 6 that it appears to be.

YES. You win. Man, I loved the ability to make your own maps in that game. I just wished Eidos allowed support for the game for the 360. :<
They made Future Perfect which was on the Xbox and can be played on the 360. The map maker is more elegant but everything else is not quite as good. I still really enjoyed it.
I had way too much fun with the mapmaker. It's the best part. Too bad Timesplitters 4 will probably never see the light of day.

I played Far Cry too, it was good but I didn't complete the game.
Go and complete it now! DO IT!
I don't have it anymore , Far Cry 2 was one of my first Xbox 360 games along with Fable 2, Fallout 3, Oblivion, and Gears of War 1 and 2 (those two games came with by Xbox).

Using my mind powers of lore, I will attempt to predict the most talked-about event at E3 2011: either three companies will announce the next generation of gaming.

Not to be rude or anything, but Black Ops looks just like any other Call of Duty game that is released. :s
I'm mainly getting ti to play with my friends, and honestly, it's better than getting nothing like I thought a few days ago.
I see what you mean.

I know we dropped th WWII thing
but i have to mention this one game i have
OperationDarkness
Its startegy RPG on 360 in WWII
But
It has Ally werewolves and Natzi Vampires and Zombies(beofore world at war did) and they also have dinosaurs and dragons.
But the player has werewolves a necromancer a fire mage Jack the ripper (and people i haven't inlocked yet)
Its an awesome game Incredibly hard though
You know what's a hard game that no one played? Yoshi's Island 2 for the DS. Then there's also Fire Emblem 6, which is what Fire Emblem played like before they went easy on us all for the games that were meant for the West to play as well, which are hard in their own right.
And then we have stuff like I Wanna Be The Guy and You Have To Burn the Rope.

I've still got a mid-90's mac, so occasionally I dig it up and play SC2K* off a floppy. I would say its nostalgic, but it's not because floppies were old by the time I started playing it anyways. But it's still fun, I like it better than newer versions- not that I think they're bad, but they aren't so... quaint.
*I assumed people would recognize this acronym but I have no idea so hey it means SimCity 2000.
