a while ago, I started playing through Crash Bandicoot 3: warped. I never finished because I got games that weren't on an outdated system.

I had a bunch of those Crash games... 1,2, Warpped, Crash Racing, (my cousin had Wrath of Cortex and I played it at his house), Tag Team Racing, Crash of the Titans, and Mind Over Mutant. When I had a Nintendo Game Boy I had Crash Purple(which was epic because Spyro was in it) and right now for Ipod I have Crash Nitro Kart 2. I watched Crash Twinsanity gameplay videos on YouTube, and now I'm mad for never buying it. :x

I got rid of my Xbox 360 last year, so now I can't play the crash games I had for it...

I have all three major systems of the last two generations, as well as a PS1 and an N64.
well technically the x-box is with my brother, my dad bought the 360, and the N64, PS1, and PS2 are my brother's, but the PS3, Gamecube and Wii are all mine.

I'm more partial to Super Smash Bros., but that's like a different thing entirely, kupo. :3

As for traditional fighters, I like Soul Calibur.

I've always found the game-play to be fine. In all the more recent games (4-7, except maybe 5) there's been a decent story. I've found all of them fun, fast paced and fun. Heck, for those who don't like the repetitive game-play, Black-Ops in particular has allowed you to be more varied. The scenery is quite nice in all the games, even if you need to expect realism (except, yet again, in Black Ops. xD).

Although, yeah, the game is mostly focused on the online gameplay. I think all games should be able to stand on single player alone, but I think they've all managed to do this (yet again, with the exception of 5 but that's just my taste. I know a lot of people who prefer 5, but I personally would much prefer MW2 or MW1. As of why, I just don't think the story mode rolled as smoothly as the others did. That, and I didn't like the hundreds of grenades in veteran...)

Call of Duty is a great game. I has good gameplay and good story.
But, what if you complete the story? You do it again... in a harder difficulty.
But, what happens if you COMPLETELY finished the campaign/story (including achievements/trophies)? Well, you move on to multiplayer/zombies.
"Dude, this is getting a little... repetitive. What should I dooooooooo?" Well, my good man, I ask the same thing.
The point is, Call of Duty is a great game, but it lacks of multiple interactions. For example: Your internet dies or the company gets hacked and that means you have NO online gameplay. The first thing you will think about will be "HA! No problem, I'll play zombies and play splitscreen" It's Ok, but it will only fulfill you for a while. If your internet is still dead or you just can't play online for any other reason and you just got bored of playing zombies and/or splitscreen, that means that you have a couple of options:
1. Play another game
2. Hang out with your friends and/or interact with the outside world
3. Wait for the internet/system to come back
4. Watch TV

So, that's my point. CoD is a great game, like I just mentioned a while ago, but it lacks of multiple interaction. The game is just... more focused on the online gameplay.
CoD: World at War had a little bit more of interaction, because it had miltiplayer campaign, which it was really fun, in my opinion. Too bad they removed the multiplayer campaign option in Black Ops.

Breaking News: Just beat Splinter Cell Conviction on Realistic! Iraq and third echelon were really hard.

I also think that all games should be able to stand on single player alone.

Just wondering, what game do you think has multiple interaction? I'm not fully sure what you mean with that.

And, great job there Cwitt! I could never do that game due to getting annoyed at having to stealth.

With multiple interaction I mean something like... having more stuff to do, for example: GTA IV
In GTA IV you can do something called "Vigilante", where you have to "take out" criminals. Also, you can hang out with your friends, where you can do various activities like bowling*, darts, drinking, eating, play pool, play golf, bla, bla, bla...
You can do races in many locations of the city (Liberty City) and many more other stuff that I don't remember.
Well, all this that I mentioned is in the single player mode.

Yeah... I think that is all, I hope you understand.

*
-"Hey, cousin! lets go bowling""
-"AAAARRRGGHH, For the last time, Roman, I don't want to go friggin' bowling!!!"
-"Ok, maybe another time"
(Hangs up)

Great job Chance!!! :3

Stealth in Splinter Cell Conviction? You should try that game, it's different from previous installments. It's gameplay is like a lion... Sure it sneaks maybe 5 feet, but in the end you just start storming through the targets in such a way that you just gape open mouthed.

On a different note, I just got two achievements for completing an extremely long and complicated Easter Egg in the new Map Pack on Black Ops. Completing a series of tasks oriented around destroying generators, turning nobs accurately, fiddling with dial combinations on different floot levels, activating radios in a certain order, obtaining a specific drink, activating fog horns in a specific order, and shooting a transformed zombie (disguised as a businessman) as he floats upwards just to collect a canister and bring if to some characters trapped behind a specific door... All while fending off hoards of zombies in the upwards of round 17-18 and GEORGE A. ROMERO!!!! xD

Hehe, I tried that Lion. I did the easier difficulties easily and quickly...but on the harder difficulties of the campaign I had absolutely no chance. Is that Black Ops achievement the paradise one by the way? I know a lot of my friends are having trouble getting that.

Anyway, I understand that Russia. Personally, I'm a massive fan of Fallout 3, which is kinda similar there, to a degree. I understand where you're coming from.

Just curious what do you guys think of the gameplay for Timesplitter: Future Perfect? I mean, it's always been to me one of my fav' first-person shooters ever.

The bizarre anachronistic guns (and the Goldeneye feel) are the best part of the games! I hope they go over the top with this one. If it ever gets released.

That was quite the weekend.
I now have a 3DO, CD-i, and Virtual Boy.

Of the three, the V-Boy has been the most fun.
The 3D is impressive and the games are high quality.
Luckily, I haven't felt any negative effects from playing it.
Perhaps I am just not as prone to headaches as some others.
Flint played through Panic Bomber and was only left a bit disoriented.

The real challenge now is finding a way to hook all the systems to my TV.
