Very awsome game.

We had a portal 2 thread, but it was combined with the video game thread.

I never expected the part with GLaDOS and Mr. Wheatly.
That right there made the game, along with the new features and such.

I've recently been playing bubblegum Creed Bro. This is even better than bubblegum Creed Two, which I honestly did not expect. Fantastic game.

You know what I hate about modern games. They are constantly telling you what betten to press and when to press it. Its so annoying, do they think we're to stupid to learn the dang controls. I mean some prompts are okay but don't put press X every time there's some to kick. We'll learn what to kick and what not to kick. Games are just acting like we're handy capped now or something.

Yes, they think that. They want players to just breeze through the game and enjoy it like a movie or a book. The art of the "game" is lost on most developers, except ones meant to be played multiplayer. Even then, it tends to be there in single player modes.

You don't say

I don't play a varied enough genre of games to be able to agree with you or not, but I'll agree that it doesn't sound fun. Most of what I play is about a decade or more old and/or only loosely defined as a game.

Agreed.
This is why I adore Crysis 2 and when I had my PC, Half Life 2. I don't want to be in a hallway, I want to be in a large, expansive space area with destructible environments, and loads of options to engage the enemy. Wether it be straight up run 'n gun, stealth or sniping. I get bored easily when I run down an invisible hallway, killing everything in my path, only to just get "You're done, now go play our shoddy multiplayer!"*cough*Call Of Duty*cough*. I mean, wheres the accomplishment of doing almost nothing, compared to sneaking past 13 patrols, and 2 LAVs?

You know, I'm thinking of a game I played recently that has similar gamepaly to invisible corridors etc. I'm thinking 'Bulletstorm' more then anything else to be honest. I'll admit some things did get repetitive but it was worth it due to seeing some awesome visuals. Also, that game almost made sure the places you were meant to kick or whip were different every time. They were all a little different, even if they appeared a lot through the game.

Either way, I am a gamer who likes running in guns a blazing aside from having to sneak around (even if I love sniping). I enjoy not having to think, and just being able to let loose, release some stress and have fun. I guess this is why I love games like CoD, Halo and Bulletstorm. *shrugs*

Hehe, anyway sorry guys, I just wanted to write a little about why I like the games you don't. Hope there's no bad blood there. ^^

Hey guys I found a really cool game called "Ace of Spades". Think of it as a mix of Minecraft and COD.
Here you can download the game.

Just finished Portal 2. Eh, it was okay. I'm disappointed, there doesn't seem to be any challenges or harder versions of any of the puzzles, which is what I was looking forward to. The game itself, all the test rooms were way too easy, and the non-test room puzzles were more annoying than fun for me.

BUST-A-MOVE

is a game that has absolutly nothing to do with dancing. Its also my absolute favriot puzzle arcade game.
I think the best mode in games like puyo puyo , tetris, and bust-a-move is endless mode. i like knowing I have to loose eventually, but fighting fate and surviving as long as I can.

I dislike how much portals still a live overshadows Mirrors edge's still alive.

The one from the portal is a nice silly song, but I feel the one on Mirrors Edge has a lot more emotion and artistic value in it. Yet its not as famous because it isn't funny or silly. That and port has so much hype.

Agree. I listened to Mirrors Edge Still Alive like 1000 times in one week.

I wish Mirrors Edge had a sequal.

Portal is simply a better game than Mirrors Edge. Which also contributes to the disparity.

I guess you've got a point with the game features, but I'll admit that I love Mirror's Edges still Alive. I'm surprised it didn't get a good name in the charts or something.
