It's summer and that means SUMMER CONVENTIONS:
Around this time of year, I ask whatever Forum I'm active on if they will be attending any conventions, since I sure will be.

I'm pretty shy and more comfortable in small groups, so I tend to avoid conventions. I've been to a couple (school-related [EAST Partnership Conference and one for university peer-counselors]), though. Hmm.

For things like anime and furry cons, I'll only attend if I'm meeting someone there.

Well, they had a fanime this saturday. Tons of my classmates went, cosplay, props, the whole doodad.

there aren't too many conventions in israel.... but there will be an anime one in the summer. :3

I got invited to a general entertainment convention in Chicago a few years ago, but I didn't go. I probably won't go to a convention unless I get invited again to go to one. I would never go to one alone.

the next convention I can manage in Scotland is in November, just more time to put together a perfect Hikaru and kaoru cosplay (ouran high school host club).
I wonder if I could mount the wheels from some heeleys in school shoes to do their sliding sideways thing?

i've been to anime central a couple of times and i've been to MFF and MFM a couple as well, anime central is by far my favorite con, so much fun!

oh! i have a story! i was once walking in to the convention and a few miles away from the doors some guy i don't know puts his hand around my shoulders and says "hey mosses, whats up?" so i told him "its all good Abraham." and then we hung out together for the rest of the day. :3 fun, right?

oh.... i guess my grammar was flawed..... once again, i am from Israel, i speak hebrew, therefore i have a right to speak horrible english as long as it is not chat-speak. ... its in my contract. :U

and ya, actually hanging out with strangers can be a lot of fun, really.

i really wanna go a convention in the usa. all the pictures always look AWESOME! the ones in israel, as fun as they may be, aren't NEARLY as grand as those.
