Any artists here?

I just wana know if there's anyone else out there who is some kind of artist besides me or Rick.

Little on my past. When I was younger, I used to be a realy good sketch artist but I didn't have copyright or anything like that so some pricks started to put their names on my art. run a marathon me off so much that I quit posting online for 3 years, but I started back and am still hesitant about posting my best art, even with copyright.

I do a little bit of sketching but I can't draw at all. Like if I'm looking at something I can usually draw it spot on, but I can't just draw something based on a thought, I hate it

My roommate is a pretty good artist and him and I are considering starting a webcomic, he doesn't read housepets but he read a boatload of other comics.

I started drawing a lot back in middle school. Got into pixel art a few years back. Most of my stuff is posted on http://kaiseto.deviantart.com/ and http://pixeljoint.com/p/9929.htm. I don't plan on getting into art professionally. Just doesn't seem like something I'd like to do for a job. But I do plan to continue drawing/pixelling etc. as a hobby. I'd like to some day make an independent game, but at the moment the effort it takes is just so overwhelming.

I dont really have a date that I started drawing in the sense that it has been my one reason for existance ever since I was old enough to hold a pencil. Im relatively new to furry art, though, as most of my art consists of guns, swords and other concept sketches. Im trying to open my perspective more.

Well... I USE to be an artist who drew, but without a scanner and noone to show my art, I haven't done much in a while, but recently I've been drawing again, (I'm not sure I can draw anthro though, haven't tried. and I play on buying a tablet soon so I'll be more motivated to practice.

Well, if you want feedback, stay away from deviantArt. The only pieces that get feedback over there are fanart or ridiculously cute anime drawings. I mostly use it as a portfolio thing. But, that's just me wallowing in self pity. There are authors over there who are fairly widely known.

I draw, write prose, nonfiction, and scripts, I can write music (very poorly), I rap (also very poorly, but I try) and sing, I'm eventually going to start painting (I paint digitally but I mean non-digital painting)....

I guess I'm an artist in that I do things that are considered art, but I don't consider myself good at any of those things and in that sense don't consider myself an artist.

In the realm of drawing and painting I happen to have a friend who's a painter by profession, and he has a bunch of friends who are also really into drawing and whatnot. They all make me feel inadequate, not because they tell me so, but because I see the stuff they do and I can't do it yet. But it is something to work towards!

I don't fashion myself as an artist. I have a long way to go before I earn that title. I do enjoy drawing though. Then again, I also enjoy writing, culinary art, and singing, so I guess I'm an artist in those ways.

I use pencil and sometimes pen, but try to steer clear of coloring, although in my comic I decided to use colored pencils. I like to make pencil sketches with layers of vague shading. You know, the misty grayish look. That's what a lot of my sketches look like. I also draw more definite comics in pen and sometimes charcter references for stories I'm writing.

From what I've seen, I'd say that EVERYONE here is an artist in some way.

I'm not great, but I try. Unfortunatly all my scans are on my photobucket. I drew one character while trying to broaden my art into cartoon stuff.
