I'm a few pages away from the finishing #1 of A&H Club but I thought some people might like to know about its existence, so I am giving you a link to read it! Just follow the navigation in the description boxes
A&H Club is a more mature work that contains some instances of language and several heaping tablespoons of (non-explicit) gay sexuality. Ratings are reductive and misleading but I'd give it a PG-13
The production of A&H Club and other stories in the future is helped largely thanks to support on my Patreon!

I've been following this on Fur Affinity! Its BRILLIANT! Your flare for comedy is matched by your flare for drama.

Just a bit too mature for me - I think I'll stick with the good clean fun antics of Housepets!
Douglas isn't my real name, but because of a name block put on me by a higher-order being known as Djinni, I can't say my real name.

I noticed and I'm following this new comic since the beginning. Very good storytelling and interesting story. Great work, Rick!

Wow! How does Rick do it? Another well-written (and very nicely-drawn) series... Goodness, some people (roo's) can't catch a break; always getting knocked down under by life.

I have to say, it definitely has a more mature atmosphere than Housepets. The story presents itself as both appealing and relatable, given the problem presented by whom I assume is main character and the actions/responses of her and the characters around her. Although the situation that is unfolded to the reader can arguably be called cliché due to how it is unfortunately common in our current society, the protagonist progresses in the story in a form that is not as common. The tone of the storyline so far is serious, but doesn't exclude the occasional subliminal display of comedy through words or actions. This has been a very interesting comic so far and I am excited for more to come

Rick is a master at balancing comedy and seriousness. That is one of the big reasons that he is such a good comic writer. Great job Rick!

Does this share continuity with the Charli stories?

No, A&H is set in the 'no pants' universe. The 'Charli' universe is distinct and has pants.

Read the whole thing through last night. I like it. Its serious to an extent and the comedy is distributed fairly. Definitely one of the better comics I've read.

I guess I can't read this until Sunday. I am going camping right after school, and apparently this isn't allowed passed my school's security filter. I guess that means it will be good.

In my experience, anything that a school filter blocks is something that is worth looking at.

The filter at my old school blocked about every site. I occasionally couldn't even access Google.

Yeah that seems like its overkill.
But back to the topic, I really do like this comic. I read a few pages and I think its cool.

Just read the story on Sunday, and I love it. I want to give her a hug, poor little thing. I can't wait to read more of this comic.

I want to hug her.......Now the question is left of who was the drunk? Her mom or dad?

This new project hits the sweet spot between levity and seriousness in its treatment of themes I thought would turn out much darker before reading.

Wow, a touching moment where Adrian and Hildegard grow ever closer, sympathizing with each other's less than rosy childhoods... but ending with an abrupt change of subject that leaves you laughing (amongst the somber adult themes, there's still a HousePets-esque feel to it)...
I liked Fight Club too; both the book and the movie. First rule of A&H Club: you do not talk about A&H Club.
