WARNING! This comic I'm about to link to is actually quite dark. And while it doesn't show anything really mature, it does have a rather mature theme. It merely implies alot of it. There are a few scenes of blood littered throughout the comic, but nothing to warrant R. Merely a really heavy PG 13.

I'm still a little fuzzy on the definition of furry, and I am horrible when it comes to deciding what is "appropriate" and what is not, so these are just some webcomics that I happen to like, Google them if you want:

Bear Nuts- heavy on the language, has some drug use in it, so be wary of it.

El Goonish Shive
Gunnerkrigg Court
Underling- deals with mythology and religion. Kinda
Slightly Damned

These are a little iffy on appropriateness IMO, so look at own risk?

Well, most webcomics I read are italian ones that come from http://www.shockdom.com/

(If I have to pick one for you, try CuoreVodoo, a furry webcomic by sanssouci, a good italian furry artist, there is also an english version on her DA/FA I think, I haven't checked that but she told it lots of times)
