Yo guys,
I have recently embarked on a BRODYQUEST. I think you guys should too. It could change your life. Or just confuse you more than anything you ever have been confused by before.

We only have one gas station that serves as a mini-Tim Hortons down here. Think it's called Roasting Roosters.

I bet that's nice if you want fuel and good coffee. I have yet to find any decent gas station coffee.

I love Brodyquest. My friends actually had that song at their wedding reception. We went around the room in a line, doing the jerky, 4-frame animation movements the whole time.
And then there's Bronyquest, which is the result of way too much time on your hands.

I can't drink coffee. I have acid reflux. I mean, I could drink it but then I would be in blinding pain for the next 12 to 16 hours.

I drink coffee every morning. But I don't think the caffeine really does anything to help me go, I just like the taste of it.

But holy carp that song is long when you're doing that "dance" to it constantly in formal attire in the summer heat. "Just end already!"

My mom says I'm too young to drink coffee. I'm 16 right now. Something tells me she just doesn't want me to grow up yet.

My first cup of coffee was when I was 9 months old. Granted, it was an accident, and lil' baby me was crawling all over the place, but I guess that sowed the seeds for my deep affection for coffee and tea :3Sleet wrote:I'm a song from the '60s!Punchy wrote:"I was raised by a cup of coffee"Kitela wrote:You are coffee, Seth.

Apparently my mom doesn't want me to drink coffee, because according to her I'll bounce off the walls and act insane. Even though I already act insane now.
Re: Chat Thread 41: Mod Maker
Caffeine in general loathes me desperately. I can do pretty well with small amounts, but other than that it either keeps me awake, makes me sick, or on the most wonderful occasions, both. Such was the case last night.

I didn't drink coffee until like senior year of high school. My A.P. European history teacher made us coffee every day so nobody had an excuse to sleep in class. And then college happened and now I drink coffee all day erry day.

So that awkward moment when you're changing the oil in your truck and can't remember if the drain plug is a 16MM or a 14MM socket despite having done it multiple times.
Then you come to find out it's actually 13MM and feel dumb for being so sure it was one or the other.

Wish me luck guys. I have to take a friend about an hour and a half north because her car broke down and it's supposed to start snowing pretty bad between tonight and tomorrow morning. (Well, bad for our area.) And we have to get back pretty quick.

I actually like the show. Not nearly as much as I liked Scrubs (or a few of other shows without a laugh track) but I still enjoy it. sure, a bunch of the places where they use a laugh track aren't that funny(since it's pretty much constantly running) but other parts are (to me, at least)

I'm glad a show like Big Bang Theory can exist, but it seems like it still relies a little too much on "Wow nerds are funny" for my tastes. Plus it has some outdated sitcom sensibilities.

What do you guys like in the Big Bang theory? Honestly, the show kind of annoys me because it seems to be mostly be about Sheldon and Leonard, and the first only seems to make me annoyed, and the second only bores me to death. Honestly, Raj and Howard at least have funny scenes from time to time, but it seels to mostly be about Leanor's life, and Sheldon being, there.

Re: Chat Thread 41: Mod Maker
Big Ban Theory actually doesn't use a laugh track. It's filmed in front of a live studio audience and in chronological order (i.e. the order you see the scenes when you watch the show) so the audience sees and understand the jokes which refer to earlier parts of the episode.
I like TBBT because it's intelligent. The humour is not just about sex, blasphemy and swearing like so many other American "comedies" (No offence intended to any Americans out there or to anyone else who likes that type of thing). Sure there's some of that in there but it's not the focal point of the humour and it's done in good taste. They also use sciency jokes routinely which are fun to understand.
Plus, Sheldon reminds me somewhat of... well... me.

Re: Chat Thread 41: Mod Maker
I don't really watch a lot of TV anymore, but when I do I like to watch police comedies like Psych and Brooklyn Nine-Nine. My 3-year-old sister loves Woody Woodpecker, though, and I can guarantee you between the hours of 5 to 8 you'll be hearing it blaring across the house.
We might want to take this conversation on the TV shows thread if it gets to be a bit long.

We can continue this conversation for a bit longer, it's only been a few posts so far, but it will eventually need to go to the other thread. And I'd like to remind everyone that mini-modding is against the rules.
I love Brooklyn nine-nine, almost as much as I loved Scrubs. It's probably my favorite comedy right now even before the end of it's first season.

Yeah, but it's better that it'll end soon. I'd lose its charm if it went on after they run out of original ideas.
