I've learned a very good lesson today: never eat a bunch of Warheads in one sitting. My tongue is peeling and while it doesn't hurt, it just feels weird.

Yep, they're called warheads for a reason - they wage war on your tastebuds.
Douglas isn't my real name, but because of a name block put on me by a higher-order being known as Djinni, I can't say my real name.

The tongue peeling might actually be layers of dead taste buds coming off. It happened to my mom when she was a kid.

I vote GOFC too.
I've never had a warhead and from what I've heard about them I'm not sure I want to.

I have never had warheads, but I want to try them now. I have had toxic waste candy a long time ago, but I forget what it tasted like. Probably sour.

The Double Bubble of sour candies.
They still aren't nearly as sweet as Monster. I've only had it once... it's so unbelievably strong in flavor that I cringed with every sip and eventually just downed the cup to get it over with. Coincidentally I couldn't sleep until 4 AM on that night.

Anything too sugary makes me cringe. It's mostly due to the fact that I don't eat a lot of sweets.

You know, I heard recently that a couple of Australian guys set up a pie shop in the US and found that they had to teach the locals how to actually eat the pies. Are meat pies really that uncommon in the US? They're absolutely everywhere here and they're delicious.

Shepherd's Pies are good but they're to the same as a proper meat pie with pastry all around. ^^Douglas Collier wrote:We have shepherd's pie in some restaurants, but most of our pies are fruit pies.

Aside from shepherd's pie and pot pies, meat pies are virtually unheard-of in the US. You'll not find 24-hour pie and ketchup stands.

I would guess a 24 hour ketchup stand would be a stand that sells ketchup 24 hours a day. Or something.
There is actually a local(ish) chain of french fry stands at the beaches around where I am and they don't offer ketchup. They do however offer white wine vinegar. Best fries you'll ever get.

I went to a local mini outdoor/strip mall he have in town today. Its called "The Village" and has a movie theater, various stores and this resturant called "The counter" (as you can see, they are very creative with names).
They sold custom gourmet burgers there. The fries you are talking about sound like something you would get there.

My mom sometimes buys meat pies but I don't see them in restaurants or any stands. Nor do I eat them with ketchup. Mashed potatoes and gravy, yes.

Great, an hour and a half before lunch and all of you make me hungry. I really want a meat pie now. That would be a great lunch this weekend while I am camping, it will be 0°F at night, that would keep me warm.
Now all of you have got me very hungry, and it isn't lunch time yet...

I think he was talking about clocks. The only time I used 24 hours was when I learned how to add and subtract time in 9th grade.
