Good man. It's a harrowing experience, but a good one in the end! My bother's been a regular blood donor since high school and I've always felt bad not for trying it. I'm not a squeamish person so I wasn't too nervous about my first time.

The injections stung like heck but didn't last for long. I was going strong for most of the donation but I fell ill near the end. Cold sweats, lightheadedness, numbness all over, cramps -- I never felt like fainting, but I was really out of it for about an hour. Probably a combination of being an unfamiliar shock to my system and me not eating enough that day. Fortunately I was back to normal by the evening.

I'd like to donate again in the future. I'll be on my new campus when my eight weeks are up, so I'll be on the lookout for donation opportunities. :)

I'm pretty sure you get paid if you're O+ right? or was it O-?

I didn't hear anything about payment, nor has my brother, who is O+, mentioned it. I assumed there isn't any because it's a donation? I looked online and found more results about being paid to donate plasma, is that what you're thinking of?

Happy birthday to them. I hope you had fun :)

Today I studied for and passed an exam put forward in my Elite Dangerous player group, Lavigny's Legion. If the senior members approve, I'll be promoted up a rank and become a full Legionnaire.

Just want to put it out there I went to the 50th birthday party for my mother's friend and then I went over to my aunt and uncle's house where he was also having a party for his birthday. Neither parties had people with masks on including me. So if I disappear suddenly and don't come back, you can guess what happened.

I know I'm being paranoid but my biggest fear is something happening to me suddenly and nobody would be around to inform the forum. When Zalgo died 9 years ago, his real life friend told you guys.

Paranoid? No. Prudent, I'd say.

Though to be fair I know a few people who might think that I am going really overboard and I might get in trouble but I have to issue the warning.

That is what we are gonna do tomorrow though there isn't a lot of things left up there. However the attic is just so hot as heck so I'm not sure how long I can last up there.

Winding down before I head off to bed. Today it turns out my mother didn't have time to go back to the other house with me to continue cleaning it.

Taking my old phone with all my music to a repair shop because the power button doesn't work and the battery is weak. Gonna get lunch while I'm over there since all the good restaurants are on that side of town.

Keeping cool and looking at song lyrics (Much to my surprise, I can actually read and pronounce Swedish lyrics. Granted, I've heard the song in question multiple times so there's that lol).

Today I went to a party for my mother's friends son as he turned 15 today. Wish we could have stayed longer but my mother had stomach issues so we had to leave (I'm pretty sure I might have inherited them from her).

I'm looking to do a sort of Work-Study class for this fall semester. I got my undergraduate resume all written out and set up and just need to send out some emails that I've had in my drafts. Sending some to people who could get me internships, as well as one to my professor for clarification on how everything works, as well as asking him for info about if the other class that he has can serve as an effective alternative in case I can't find an internship in time.

The thermometer in my mother's car said over where we used to live it was 102 degrees.

And during the time we were over there we were working away in the hot sun melting as we got the house ready to be put on the market.

Discovered a series called "Jim Henson's Dog City" and I am smitten to Rosie O'Gravy, a collie police chief. I am considering a Collie Character that is also a Rubber based being. She (My Collie character I am dreaming up) is also inspired by a furry latex suit company that I don't know if I should name drop lest I break a rule, but they made a inflatable spherical husky suit that inspired said Rubber Collie.

Had to supervise some carpenters installing new gutters. The gutters there were wooden, installed when the house was built in 1946 (the year I was born). They did a good job and got rid of a small carpenter ant colony just getting itself established. Ants are bad tenants.
