Actually today I am pleased to report that I no longer feel like I want to throw myself in front of a train! I feel a lot better now! I don't know what it was! Let's just hope it stays that way.
Thats great news! good to hear it!
And today I did a bit of walking and grinding to get ready for EVO. I'm fairly excited about it this year.

Combat humidity? Boy do I know that. I live in a town that's like constantly 80 percent humidity or higher.
And the day just started so I think alright.

Did some good exercise yesterday, so now it's time for recovery mode so my muscles can get those gains. They're kinda sore, but not intolerably so. One thing I do need to do today is clean out the pantry of all of the old stuff that I was going to eat/use to cook but never got around to it. Feel bad for all that food that went to waste, but having it only filled with essential stuff that will get eaten/used will be much more satisfying.
With the right community, getting into a webcomic at the beginning of a brand new arc can feel just as enjoyable and rewarding as being there from the beginning.

Good on you friend. I hope you get the gains you want and the food doesn't end up going to waste. I haven't decided to do anything terribly productive, just catch up on a show or two and mess with some sounds.

"Days of our Lives". I have been watching it on and off since I was 11 years old. So that is 16 years of watching it on and off.

Gotta replace a couple of the house gutters - would you believe they're wooden and have been on the house since it was built in 1946?

That's a pretty old house. Sound like they've lasted a pretty long time though.

It's the house I was raised in, actually, Jay. We moved into it in 1953 while Dad was still in the Navy. I inherited it in 1998 and eventually, the missus and I moved back into in 2018 after I retired from the college job in Carolina. So...after all this time...the wooden gutters have kinda had it.

Wow, Things were made to last back then it seems. I'm in a relatively new house, maybe 20 years or so, and the the plumbing is starting to go to heck. And a myriad of other things that's starting to pop up here and there.

One of the gutters on the house I am in currently has gotten detached from the house and now swings around when it is very windy.

It only swings 3 feet away and it isn't far enough to hit anything. And even if it does, it isn't really that hard or a big worry. If it hits you it will just be a super light bonk and capable of damaging anything.

Oh? Well if it only bonks then I'm sure there's not too much to worry about. As long as you think its safe.

Trying to trap chipmunks. We have a family that lives in an outside stonewall. I don't really mind the little scamps but they're starting to explore under the porch - which is a prelude to getting into the garage which is a stage before getting into the house walls. So, before they break "The Treaty" (as Mom used to say), we need to relocate them.

Figuring out whether the blue jay that I always see in the yard behind me is a different one each time or if it is the same one.

If it is actually the same one, then it has two different nesting sites. One in a tree in my neighbor's yard and the other in a tree that is growing by my old dog's pen.

Why not? Seeing as my mother always complains about how the city that we live in now is starting to become one big project so I wouldn't be too surprised.
