Checking to see if anymore Rhode Islanders perished from the Coronavirus. We are still at 4 but Trump signed off on a Coronavirus disaster declaration. I guess that means we get access to addition federal funding now.

Had to rush Sophie to the vet this afternoon. Interesting experience under the new restrictions. They couldn't admit me unless I had an appointment, although that could be accomplished by calling them from the clinic parking lot. I could not come in with the dog ... which, since she is an elder dog with separation anxieties, was awkward. She slipped in with her Lion squeaky toy these folks gave her on her last visit, much to my embarrassment. Everyone was in masks, gloves, and one person in full gear on stand-by. They sanitized the walk-in area every twenty minutes. Had to pay by phoning in credit card, again from the parking lot, and then a very relieved Sophie was handed off with her documents in a small manila envelop.

Another coronavirus experience - but Sophie emerged intact with her Lion squeaky toy washed and sanitized. Very kind and professional as always, but sad and strange at the same time.
Stay safe, gang.

If that does have to be what we end up doing for the future of the Earth, we might as well get used to it I guess. :|

Hanging home and tending our three-footed patient. Sophie's still kinda lethargic this morning, but it's that sort of morning anyhow.

Hoping that my soap isn't once again pre-empted after it starts. Seriously Raimondo, pre-empt it BEFORE the first few scenes are shown.

Working on the next episode of my fanfiction. I think a 7 Ranger team with 1 Lone Ranger separate would be enough to follow for this decade.

So, last night I thought I spilled a few splotches of water on my table and didn't feel like dealing with them. This morning I was surprised to find they hadn't evaporated yet... Turns out there was a fair amount of juice from my pickled plums mixed in there, and now that the water has mostly evaporated, I'm left with a sticky mess. :(
Edit: So that's what I'm doing today

So you are trying to give the table a very thorough scrub then to get it not to be sticky?

Yeah, some day yard sales will have laundry baskets full of them. That'll mark a real passage in this mess.

Oh, and I wouldn`t buy any of them.

If you've got spares don't sit on them or try to sell them later. Donate them to a hospital. Seriously.
Average regular people are buying them up so fast that the healthcare systems don't have enough.

And trust me, it doesn't matter where you are or what healthcare system that is, because regular people are still regular people.

Getting footage for my review (recording with a camcorder didn't work out but, thankfully, Xbox One has a built-in capture function).

I painted a ceramic plate. There's a ceramic painting place in town that's selling do-it-at-home kits and my sister brought one for our family. It's been a long time since I've last painted but I'm really happy with what I made.

I've no real idea what to tell you...
...well, except what I might do for a pet who's not eating. Leave something you know they like in a space where they'll come across it often, and let that slowly tempt them. Even better if it's something that smells really tasty. But above all, be patient and let them take their time for as long as it takes until they can't resist it anymore.
Who knows, maybe it works on humans too? I've no idea.
