He will be going into Boot Camp for the Air Force on the 27th. So leave well wishes and anything else you want to say to him in this thread.

Enjoy your time in the Airforce, and always keep this in mind. People coming out of the Airforce have a very high employment rate.

Well now that hes gonna be off the forum till he leaves I'm gonna use this to keep everyone updated on how hes doing when he sends me letters and stuff. You guys can ask questions to him in this topic if you want and I'll send them to him in the letters. You can also still say goodbye and stuff if you want.

He had a little bit of time before he left today so he managed to post and get on the IRC one last time thats all. He on his way to Boot Camp right now and might even be already there. It might be a week till I get his base address to send him letters however. (depending on how fast his dad can get me the info of course)

I already spoke with Shamrock/Challenger privately before and I made something both for him and IceKitsune: a surreal drawing of them both, which will Challenger get in a nice big printed version that he can keep for his whole duration there

The whole drawing has a lot of relations/references/puzzles to both Challenger and IceKitsune, can you figure them all out?

Also for the record, this is so far the only drawing I did for someone and it is well deserved

Hey everyone I just got my First letter from Challenger. Its a short quick one but he says he misses you all very much specifically saying Hi to Echo, Dlyan, Diss (It will be a while before he can get you a letter personally.), Buckdida (When he gets back hes gonna get you back for that Last minute Powershower!), Frooxius, Kurowolfe, and Rick (He'll catch up on every strip when he gets back). He says that its going fine so far just that he misses us all terribly. He also says him writing letters back will be very rare so I wouldn't expect to many. I will start writing the letter back very soon (no more then Sunday so I can mail it on Monday) so get any questions or what you want to say out quickly I don't want him to wait to long.

Hey guys as I sent the first letter I got a second from him today as well It almost completely personal so I can't say much but he talks about our anniversary and that hes getting buff from all the training hes doing and that waking up at 4 AM suck, he hate the training he has to go through (though who doesn't) and he wishes he could be home. The second letter will be written a bit quicker this time you have 2 days to say what you want.

Eventually, the training won't be so hard, and it will seem like you're just warming up. Or at least I hope it will. What's the food like? my dad says military food is bland and mostly flavorless. I really wouldn't know though. How often does he get to work on the letters?

Sent the second Letter. I'm thinking of sending the third around Halloween or November 1st.

Edit: Just got a phone call from Challenger Hes doing fine and has a few more letters standing by. Next Week he will be doing something called a Gas Chamber and an Obstacle Course. Calls will be every week but he might not call me every week since he only gets one. He's doing well and misses you all.
