Challenger's Farewell Gift/Letter updates and Questions.

Just got another phone call from Andrew, he said he had fun on the obstacle course and he told me what the Gas Chamber is. (basically they send you in and subject you to tear gas so you can practice functioning in those conditions) Hes half way though Basic then he will go to Tech School where he will have a computer again so he will be able to talk to everyone. He also talked about getting his uniform and how that was like he said it was an amazing feeling.

I fell like I shouldn't edit my last post so this topic will bump.

I think Buck is gonna powershower him when he gets back. I'd warn him just to make sure he's ready.

Got three letters from Challenger today. The one for everyone on the forum says that he finds writing in cursive in pen weird and complains about my spelling (yes I know its horrible some times ) Hes happy that you guys are there for him and wants to say Hi to Echo, Dylan, Buck, Diss, and Kurowolfe and that he misses you all very much.

Hey guys just got a call from Andrew and sent my letter yesterday. He got a really good score on the marksmen test. He going to do simulated training exercises next week which he says sounds like fun. Going to go into woods and set up tents and do movements and war games. He says hes doing great and is glad its almost done. He should be getting his X-box and computer back in a few weeks.

got another call from Andrew. He told me about doing BEAST (which is simulated war basically) said it was very hard and he sweat a lot in the suit he had to wear but hes doing fine other wise. He sent me some relay letter that I sent out to people already. Again hes almost done and will be able to come back very soon. It was a short call really.

If the Air Force's Boot Camp is the same length as the Army, does that mean he'll probably have his internet and everything back by the end of this month? I remember my brother could only write me letters for the two months he was at Basic Training.

Basically, he should have it back like a week after Thanksgiving IIRC. If his mom brings him his computer and X-Box and stuff. Because then he has Tech School to get though.

I had a call from Chall yesterday (I forgot to post it in the topic ) Hes really close to being done, and his squad is the second best on the base (technically they are tied for first in terms of points but the other squad did a bit better on BEAST so they are ranked higher then them.) So he and his squad are getting extra stuff for meals and more time off base and stuff like that.

Andrew has told me he won't be online much if at all since the internet at the dorms at tech school sucks. But I will be getting a lot of calls since he can call me every night now if he wanted to.

Hey guys Andrew just called and said that he will be able to get on on Saturday and post chapter 13 and 14 of his story up. Hes doing really well and gave me his new address (the parts that changed anyway) Hes working hard at Tech School and will try to get on the internet as much as he can, which will be hard since the dorms don't have any in them and he has to go off base to get it. So maybe once a week at best.

Edit: Also for anyone in Sunset even though hes going to be getting on he will not be rejoining Sunset yet since it would only be once a week at best.

Andrew just called me and told me he had a blast in the Hypoxia chamber. He said that after a while he couldn't remember what he was doing and they where telling him to write stuff down or adjust his oxygen on his mask (He got to wear the ones that pilots use) and he would just say Ok and then stare at them doing nothing and they would tell him to do stuff like 4 or 5 times before he would do it. And when he got out of the chamber he couldn't remember what he wrote down. He was out of it most of the time but he said it was a lot of fun.

It was a survey that tested how he was feeling and stuff like that. But the one main thing he wrote down was the words "Mental Confusion" and after that he stopped filling stuff in (that's why they kept asking him to write stuff down)
