Okay, okay, I also admit it. When I was a little kid, I bought two Sailor Moon movies and really liked them. But I never saw the show, so I was mostly lost, hehe.GameCobra wrote:Alright, fine. i admit it:
I watched MLP and Sailor Moon when i was a kid. Sailor Moon however was a little different. It was one of my first tastes next to Samurai Pizza Cats and DBZ that was Anime and i was hooked, but i also liked the characterization of the show too. Luckily, i watched it when noone else was around just to perk my curiosity.
The reason is simple though. These shows has characterizations that were easy to get hooked to and i find that's pretty much why these shows become popular. Think of it this way: The horses/ponies on the show acted casual naturally and were easy to identify and you can't help but laugh at the idea that it's a girl show with horses, but it's also one of the more well-designed children shows out there. It's like how you watch Housepets now and you can tell the difference between every cat and dog because Rick made the difference in his characters noticable in that way with the pets and their fur and collars. If they were collarless and the same fur color, you then see the humorous universal-breakdown logic of real-world pets and animals broken down to what it is for us: Realistic. You just can't ignore that kind of enjoyable, simplistic nature of things. That effect is with the ponies too.
I'm starting to watch this show again just to fill my childhood curiosity moments again.
So gang, I have a question for y'all. Who has been your favorite celebrity-type pony? Foto Phinish, Hoity Toity, or that one that Rarity had to get all the diamond dresses for?
