A lot of people use Suited for Success as a suggested first episode for their male friends. I understand that it's a good episode, but I agree with the chart. It's way too girly for a boy who's new to the show.

Well, no matter which episode you choose to show someone first, I think it should feature all six ponies of the mane cast!

That guide mariomarc linked does actually give some good recommendations. If I have to choose from these two episodes however, I would still say Fall Weather Friends.

Pinkamina's flashback is awesome! It makes no sense, just like she does.

Also, Rarity's flashback, when she's looking up at the stone: totally a 2001: A Space Odyssey reference. The music also sounds like Thus Sprach Zarathustra there!

What do you guys think of their voices? I absolutely loved Dash's and Rarity's voices as little fillies! Dash was adorable, and Rarity always had that melodramatic flair to her speech.
