I saw an episode with baby Pinkie Pie meeting baby Scootaloo. That was terrifying enough, thank you.

Speaking of the "other" mlp series, Everytime before a new episode, Bronystate Theatre airs an episode from the older series, and everybody goes insane. They're all like "GET THAT STUFF OFF".

Let's discuss new episode!
the first half was mediocre at best, but...when granny Smith told everypony about the fondation of Ponyville...The epicness started. I'm srious. That was MUCH better than the foundation of Equestria.
This episode was awsome because of Granny's story.

for some reason what stood out for me was that when Filthy Rich was speaking to the class, Twist was just staring affectionately
i find that hilarious for some reason

also Ponyville's creation was pretty cool

well, they did establish that they didn't need one every week.
I liked this episode.

and I know it's been well established how long Princess Celestia has been around, but it was still odd seeing her looking the same while interacting with a young Granny Smith.

awesome episode was awesome. granny smiths story was the best part, of course, but the entire episode was just as awesome. i really liked it. can anypony find derpy hooves? oO

I really liked today's episode. Granny Smith's story was awesome, the zap apples were awesome, and the CMC were awesome. My fave bit though was Diamond Tiara's dad. I don't know why, I just like how nice and genial he was.

The only major downside of the episode was the plot hole created by the writer of this episode and winter wrap up (which was the SAME writer, by the way).
Winter wrap up: Twilight says Ponnyville exists for hundreds of years

In today's episode: Granny Smith says that her parents founded Ponyville.
The majority of the discussion about this came down to those possibilities:
1)the author was a lazy person who didn't bother to check if the story didn't contradict other episodes (most likely).
2)Twilight was wrong (the bookworm wrong? haha)
3)Granny lied to help Applebloom (my headcannon cannot allow that)
4)Ponies live for hundreds of years (this is pretty much a fan favorite theory as far as I read, which can be good for Spike if it's true).

There's another, very simple explanation for all this. Granny Smith was a companion of the Doctor. Her original name before becoming a grandmother was "Sarah Jane". :3
