I'm neutral about the ponies. I've only watched the pilot episode. It's not a show I'd hate, but I can't see myself watching any more episodes unless I had friends to watch it with.

I do have to say I enjoy some Pony art that's showing up on art sites. Cute stuff

Just finished watching the documentary, and I gotta say I enjoyed it a lot. Definitely think just about anyone who still rolls their eyes at the idea of anyone besides prepubescent girls watching an MLP show should watch it, but I can't imagine they'd be willing to sit down for an hour. I do know of at least one other such review of the show (though it doesn't really cover the fanbase itself like this video did; didn't really have time to) that's about a third of the run-time. I feel like it may have been posted earlier in this thread; if not, it was in the group I'm in on FB.

I would definitely recommend watching the latter half of this to any doubters I meet in RL though.

Okay, that documentary had me laughing every five minutes and wishing I bothered watching more of the show. I watched it with my sister and brother-in-law and we all agreed it was amazing, but I could still never really watch it myself out of lack of interest. Of course, when has Lauren Faust not made an amazing show? I use to watch Foster's and Powerpuff Girls with my friends when we were kids and, besides a lack of interest in certain episodes here and there, always enjoyed them.

Although really, I have no right to say anything about Cupcakes. For Halloween I wrote a horror fic that was meant to deconstruct that kind of fic. The villain was supposed to be a pony manifestation of the "bad" parts of the fandom and the internet in general, but none of my readers got it. =/

On a related note, anypony read any good Christmas pony fics?

What's wrong with season 2? Yeah, "The Mysterious Mare-Do-Well" was kinda disappointing, but everything else has been great!

I guess that was rather vague, I meant garbage in comparison to S1.
The only episodes I really liked were Luna Eclipsed, and may the Best pet win. The other ones were so... meh.
