It's not really a joke so much as it's a "when he's older" thing.

I saw a comic once of Pipsqueak growing up, Luna getting together with him when he's an adult, and then having him die on her since she's immortal. It's rather sad.

I saw that comic too. That's why I don't like shipping ANY characters with Luna or Celestia, because that would happen with any relationship. Even dragons.

It's a dark and stormy night, and Twilight is enjoying a mug of hot chocolate and a book, when a stranger arrives at her home. Then some very dark, gruesome things happen. I wrote it as a deconstruction of the horrid things some people have written, specifically Cupcakes.

Hmm...how to answer that...it lifts several scenes almost directly from the fic Cupcakes, only adapted to my writing style. However, I worked to infuse the story with a sense of psychological dread, so that it's not just gore and junk. Plus, and I'm probably spoiling this for people (only I don't know how to do spoilers), nopony actually dies...maybe. The ending is very ambiguous.
