At the touch of his antenna, the disorganized mass of limbs started to tingle and move towards each other before lumping and congealing into one big ball. Inside, John's higher cardiopathy network was re-established and stabilized, as the auto-transformation sequence was triggered. The ball floated for a while before reforming, with longer limbs started to grow out from it. Before long, the whole mass extended to human height, and John was once again standing in his human forme, visibly shaken but nothing worse for wear.

The now-man gathered himself up and held his head to steady it. The loud sounds were still ringing, but unlike before, only served as a minor annoyance. Opening his eyes, John looked down and saw Avery next to him. "You're the one who started the protocol," he simply stated with a small smile, gratefulness shining in his eyes. "Thank you."

Before he could even say anything else, John's eyes caught sight of an android pointing a large gun at the white dog. Alarmed, he quickly moved and stood tall between Avery and the deathly weapon, looking straight at the droid's eyes. "Do not hurt him, he was only trying to help me, and he did. He did not harm me in any way, and neither should you." John's voice was stern and stiff, almost like a military sergeant, as he addressed the droid.

The vent is just ahead. Here's the plan. We get Rosie and my chip, then we should pick your father up. Then, we get off this boat.

The gel should stop right here, but its a slide down to the vent. Climb off, and be careful. Wealthy said.
He lifted his hand, which had oddly came out untouched by the goop. He brushed his finger across her face.

Internally, John let out a sigh of relief. Thank goodness he knew how the military works! This thought was not reflected on his demeanor, however, as he kept his stance and responded, "Further medical assistance is not required. Thank you for your concern, and please proceed with your other tasks now."

"You never knew Rosie before this? Huh, she seemed to see you as a companion," Ashe remarked. When they stopped sliding, Ashe's heartbeat gotten a little faster. Was it the excitement? No... something felt wrong somehow. She really couldn't pinpoint the exact issue, but she had a bad feeling about the whole thing.

She nodded in agreement to Wealthy's plan, and clambered off Rosie's body towards the vent opening. It was steep, but she was flexible enough to maintain her balance. She was taken aback when Wealthy told him to stay inside. "No, we're in th--" Ashe was stumped for words when he caressed her face with his finger. So surprised that she merely moved her head downwards and upwards each once, and stayed still.

Gionni had been somewhat absorbed by her lingering frustration with Erik, while her other processors were trying to work other emotions and thoughts. Being a somewhat flawed model, having more than two things running as prevalent matters caused a backup. Or rather, if she wasn't a ani-droid, a pause in her speech.

Once her systems did catch up, Gionni startled her own self by exclaiming. "I should have called paramedics first! Io sono un idiota!"

"Er, I mean sequence, yeah sequence, I got my words mixed up a bit," John hastily corrected himself. Seemed like he still had not gotten rid of the military speak just yet.

Hoping Avery wouldn't notice anything amid the blaring sirens, he knelt on on knee and patted him on the shoulder. "Again, thank you for saving my life. If you had been late in pressing my antenna, I might have disintegrated into nothing. My species is... deathly allergic, you could say... to loud non-natural sounds, and being in this forme is the only way for me to be safe."

Standing up and looking around at the general chaos in the Moon Base, he stated with a grim face, "You know, I'm afraid we might have a situation in our hands. And we still need to locate my daughter and her friend. I would like to ask these droids for help, but it seems that they are programmed to only carry out absolute orders."

After thinking for a bit, no doubt disturbed by the cacophony around them, he finally said, "I may have a way to locate them, but I need your help Avery. Can you lend your paw again?" He directed the question at the white canine, hoping for a positive answer.

Well I just I got here, but from what I've gathered, my son here arrested someone, who in return caused internal damage, which wasn't noticed till he fainted from pain. James said to the paramedic. He heard the anipets comment and turned to address her. So you're the one who called me. He stuck his arm towards her for a hand shake. My names James walker. Pleasure to meet you.

He looked at the bolts. Noticing that they probably won't budge, he decided to melt them.
Rosie's crystal lit up, then sent a welding beam down on the vent cover.
All 4 bolts melt down. Wealthy grabbed the grate before it fell, then pulled it back in.

Dang, he's out cold. the fox mutters.
Alright, We'll have to get him to the hospital. A.J! Get your tail down here! She shouts.
another standard red fox falls from the hovercraft, carrying a stretcher.
Wheres the pain medicine? She asks.
A.J passes her a pill.
Not a dang pill, the syringe! she shouts, knocking it out of his hand. He quickly fumbles in his medical pack. Passing her the syringe, she turns, then carefully injects the pain medicine.
Alright, get him up there! She shouts, sliding the 2 rods around Noah's unconscious form.
She clicks the rods, making a hard-light stretcher.
The foxes take each end, then fly back up to the hovercraft.
The female comes back down, then tells James We'll be heading to the hospital, but we can't carry a lot of people. She looks through her numbers in a paper pad.
Call this guy. He's an amazing taxi driver. The hospital is a restricted area. But, this driver can get you here. He has special credentials. She says, handing him a card. The card read "Puerto Gracia, 093-------"
Until then, you guys get indoors. she ordered everyone around.

Despite the sounds and sirens Avery couldn't help but wag his tail from side to side at the praise. But back to the matter at hand...
"Of course." The dog gave an affirmative nod.
"What do you need?"

He heard what he ani-droid said and though he knew the answer, made no move to respond. The droid was, after all, speaking to Mr. Smith.

Ashe watched silently this time, as Wealthy heated the bolts and opened the vent cover. She didn't really pay much attention on how he did it, focused as she was towards his orders just now.

John turned his head back at the mech-droid, amazed that he was still there. "Yes, I have a daughter registered under my name named Ashe. Is something the matter?" he asked bluntly.

In his mind though, he was busily thinking of a way to avert this droid's attention on them without making a mess of things. He couldn't think of a good way, to be honest, and it made him panicked on the inside. Then, he got an idea.

Gionni extended a servo and shook the man's offered hand. "My name is Gionni. It is nice to meet you as well." She glanced a bit enviously towards the medical foxes at work. "And I am sorry I did not call the paramedics as I should have."

Haven't you heard? Evacuation protocols have been commenced at the moon base. Trolleys might drop at random places by accident because of the speed they'll be making. She explained.
Most of the buildings are built to withstand pressure from space. A trolley isn't going to do any harm to it. Not that trolleys would divert from its course, but its a necessary precaution.

In the process, another A.I has been replaced. This was assumed to be an accident, because the artificial intelligence and your daughter are now in the vents, above the ships control room. it continued.
The captain will personally escort her off the ship via trolley, but you must go to the blue line. NOW. It said, aiming a turret at the man.

Wealthy dropped stealthily to the ground, then moved swiftly around a corner, hiding behind a console.
He could clearly see the a.i storage chip, sitting comfortably in place.
But he noticed something else.
Rosie was being projected by the a.i crystal, talking with the captain. Suddenly, Wealthy is lifted off the ground by one of the crewman.
Ah, Wealthy. The captain mused.

John, surprisingly enough, didn't flinch a bit this time when the gun was aimed at him. He now had some suspicions about these droids, as efficient as they are with their evacuation procedures. He was more worried, however, when he informed him on Ashe's whereabouts. The droid didn't seem to have any emotions AI programmed in, so he was sure that he was not lying. And what's this about her being with another AI?

In retrospect, it would be something that his daughter would do. Maybe it was high time he emulated her 'spunk' as they call it, as well. "Let's just hope this works," he thought to himself, as he regathered his thought waves and directed it at Avery, establishing a telepathic conversation. "Avery, can you hear me? I'm afraid things has turned for the worse, and there might be a terrorist attack or mutiny on this Moon Base. You should follow the droid and evacuate, there's no point in putting yourself in danger." He paused, and with a small shiver in his thought, continued, "I'm... not leaving without my daughter, no way."

Sadly, her prayers were unanswered, as Wealthy was caught by someone. She even caught sight of Rosie's image being projected by this machine.
.... This was turning into a life-or-death situation, and Ashe knew that they might not make it out....

Steeling herself, she fought against her instinct to go in and save everyone, and stayed in the vents, hoping she was still undetected. She needed to think of something, fast!

"With... All due respect Mr. Smith." Avery thought back, hoping the communication worked both ways.
"I would rather accompany you in the task of retrieving your daughter." His voice sounded more calm and level in his head.
"As a licensed service dog it is my duty to help and serve those in need whether the job be dangerous or not. And in a time of crisis as I am undesignated, my duties are to serve and protect the citizen in the most critical condition. And seeing as you are the only one in the area."
He paused a bit.
"But... Putting protocol aside, you're a nice person and I want to help...

The mech-droid saw that John wasn't moving. It went through a thinking cycle, trying to decide if he should electrocute him then and there, but also thinking that, since he was an alien species, what if it killed him. Despite the situations that were punishable by death, this was not one of them.

Hearing the dog's train of thought caused the man to smile despite the hostile situation. "I see, then your help would be greatly appreciated. Follow my lead, and when I give the cue, broadcast the wave you emitted just now at both me and him."

John adjusted his lab coat and cleared his throat. Looking at the droid with a calm expression, he said, "Very well. Please inform me when you had managed to find Ashe, and please do not harm her in any way." Glancing at Avery, he instructed, "Let's go Avery."

As he started to walk a few steps side by side with the dog, placing himself between him and the droid, he said telepathically, "NOW!"

A cold chill ran through the grey cat's back. Of course, these thugs were at the control room, they were not hidden from anyone at all.

With a graceful leap, Ashe jumped out of the vent and landed on all fours, before standing up and facing the captain. She took a quick glance at the captured Wealthy, then to the projected Rosie, then to the other members of the group. "I'm here. Now if you don't mind, what is it exactly that you are doing here?" she asked the captain with a voice colder than steel, and eyes as sharp as knives. She did not liked being call sweety by just anyone!

Back at the situation with John and Avery, the droid could sense malicious intent... or something of the sort.
Over its communicator chip, it speaks to Captain Malice in a shy, whispery voice.
Um, Captain? I found the cats owner. She says, with a complete change from her usual mech-droid voice.
That's good! Send them up immediately. She replies.
The mech droid made its series of clicks, then went back to the walking dogs.
You have new orders. The captain wants you up at the control room. Follow me to the nearest elevator. It commands.
Failure to comply to the order is punishable by short term paralysis, and you will be brought up by force. It adds.

Well, that's taken care of. She voices, then turns to Wealthy. Rosie was still looking down.
Wealthy, when did you learn about your rampancy? She asks.
Wealthy was dropped from his hanging position.
2 weeks... He answered.
Okay... She says, marking something on a near by clip board.
And, considering you tried to run today... When did you find out about the sweep? She asks.
Same time. He replies.
Okay... She writes something on her clip board.
So, did you estimate how long your rampancy would take? She asks.
Yes. He replies.
The crew start to pack up their work stations.
What were your calculations? She asks.
... Wealthy pauses. 72 hours until I enter the meta-crisis stage. he replies.
So why couldn't you let me die in peace? Or at least let me fight for my life? He asks, frustrated.
Malice was writing something on her clip board.

For a moment Avery stopped in his tracks, processing the new message the ani-droid gave them in his brain. Looking skeptically at the robot, he tilted his head in that way dogs tilt their head when their confused.
Then he glanced from the ani-droid to the man.
"How'd you do that? I didn't even do anything yet."

"(Stomach grumbles)......... Ugh, time for lunch......... Maybe that place has some good food."

{Apollo City Entry #1: I've finally arrived in Apollo City. It's been really difficult trying to get in. The security of this place is incredible. I had a hard to sneaking in so I had to steal some forged documents. And the trip here was pretty fine. The service personnel we're kind and the food was delicious on the shuttle. My first day posed a big problem..... FOOD. I spent so many hours looking at chains of restaurants, I forgot to steal money for starting capital...... I had no choice but to resort to desperate measures.}

Dale stops at a burger joint. He looks through the window and sees the layout.

"I'm sorry you earnest workers..... (But I got to eat. Nothing personal. After I've robbed a bank here later today, I'll give an extra large tip.)

Dale sneaks around back and cloaks his face with his scarf. He looks out for hidden cameras and start using his G.E.I.S.T. Generator to survey the area. After looking around, he then makes a ladder of ice the brings him up to the roof of the place. Dale then phases his head through the ceiling and spots the different workers of the place. He also notices the food storage. He then phases through the ceiling completely and starts sneaking through the walls. As he was about to enter the vault, he activates some sort of alarm by mistake.

{Today wasn't really a great start in Apollo City. I have already become a criminal and now I'm running just to feed myself.}

Dale quickly coats feet and ice and starts skating through the vault and manages to steal a patty. He then skates through the walls and escapes through the buildings beside the place. He then stops at a dirty alley to eat the frozen patty. He uses his boots to absorb the low temperature of the patty and he starts to eat it. As he is eating, he looks at the puddle beside him and notices how dirty he looks.

{At least the research lab had people taking care of me..... It sucks to be on the streets.}

Dale looks around and he sees the park.

"Maybe they have a pond where I can clean up."

{I'm lucky that I made it here since I'm not at risk with the virus. However, I wasn't prepared for what awaited me at the Lunar Landing City Park.}

Considering that everyone has been ordered to go inside, I'm pretty sure business is going to be slow today. How about we all hang out at Atlas Inc.? Orion offered.
That section of town is closed until further notice. You might as well go with her. the fox said, grabbing on to a rope.
We'll see you at the hospital. She waves goodbye as the hovercraft leaves.

Police! You guys need to head inside as soon as possible. He informs them.

Kelly is a little bit doubtful at this. "Are civillian droids allowed there? If so then I will gladly follow you." She hears the police officer's request and turns to him.
"We will, of course, follow your orders, officer. May I enquire as to the circumstances from which this order has arisen?"

As Dale approaches, he notices a police officer and dives into the bushes.

{The park looked beautiful but a police officer turned up. I had to hide quickly.}

Dale uses his G.E.I.S.T. generator and discards his scarf into the pavement. He then hides behind a tree and carefully monitors the officer.

Though he ignored the officer until now, Polaris turned to the officer, stretching his cybernetic arm towards the officer and showing his palm, where a badge-like symbol lit, as well as a few numbers below it.
"I'm Military, officer." he said "What seems to be the problem."

The moon base has issued evacuation protocols, so there are loads of people who might not have been screened. All military personnel need to make their way down there to make sure no one gets out that isn't supposed to. The officer replied.
Same as medical, because people might have been injured during the evacuation. Civilians need to head in doors in case any trolleys are dropped out of target.

"I see. I shall return to the theatre. I am beginning to run low on charge anyway. But before I go..." A small strip of paper, followed by another runs out of Kelly's mouth and the ferret reaches up to remove them before offering one each to the cy-pet and the police officer.
"An invitation for you and a friend to attend the grand opening of our new theatre tonight. This ticket provides free entry for two to the evening and the show. There will be cocktails and nibblies provided in the foyer prior to the show beginning at six PM while the show will commence at 8PM sharp. This week our company is performing the musical comedy, "Toast and Butter", a humorous take on life in the seventies, written and scored by our owner, Johannes Doyle of "The Bugs", which has proved very successful down on Earth. I look forward to seeing you there." She turns to Polaris.

Polaris took the ticket and put it in his backpack.

The interface in his eye quickly connected with the interface of the craft, giving him the correct coordinates "See you at the evac-area, officer and have an nice day!" the wolf said and simply melted in the air, teleporting to the craft's inner chamber. once he was done, the craft turned back and headed towards K-Corp.

{I looked around the park until I saw a beautiful water fountain. It was a good place to get myself cleaned up but the area was too open. It wasn't long til someone noticed me cleaning myself.}

Kelly returns the officer's farewell and then turns and heads back to the theatre. Upon arrival she makes her way to her charging station. Plugging herself in, she powers down into standby mode and begins downloading her updates.
