I rather like seeing the smartwatch idea come back. Marion was using one the last time we saw him as well, and it makes sense that smaller animals that are more closely tied to human society would start using them. If they had existed sooner, I suspect that we'd have seen the Miltons use them as well.

The band is a bit of an oddity. In Marions case, I could see Lois wearing it to hold for him, but I'd think it was just extra bulk for Spo.
