Bino decides to increase his coolness by taking skydiving lessons.

It ends with him breaking every single bone in his body and an infuriated Jeff ranting about the vet bills.

Discount Jack plots to supplement his meagre salary with a little after-hours pilfering but only manages to knock over a bunch of heavy boxes and knock himself out. In his "altered consciousness", he is visited by Cerberus and Eudoant who warn him of the consequences of continuing his nefarious ways. However, after getting to know Jack, the three-headed dog and four-eared deer reflect on Jack's "management potential" in their respective realms.

So THAT'S what Eudoant's species is!
To be honest, I didn't know they had a species.
My name is Firework Fox.

I'm not sure that IS a species since sometimes Weston just likes to be a bit imaginative when he posts on the forum. :)

Amaz is right - I don't want to sound authoritative. It's just that Eudoant looks like a deer according to his resemblance to other cervid characters Rick has drawn for other comics. Actually, Eudoant's depiction strikes me as a fairly original creation compared to some of the other Infernals depicted in Pandemonium (Minotaurs, mini-dragons, T-Rexs, etc.). Didn't mean to mislead you, Fireworks.

And, since this is the "Arcs that would never happen" thread, I think Eudoant deserves a return call. In a way, as an Infernal, he seems to mirror the role of Cerberus among the Celestials, and a storyline which has the two of them interacting as "frenemies" could be fun. Say, cooperating in pursuit of our Li'l Dino-Demon who is still loose in the terrestrial world. Or the two of them involved in a Job-like wager over the future of one of our heroes (Grape, Tarot, Zach, or King) or not-so-heroes (Bino, Duchess, Cory). Hey, even bring back Daisy for that role...

This thread is still "Arc that would NEVER happen", right ...... ? ;)

Or instead of them working together, Cerberus and Eudoant could be actively working against each other and trying to get the dino demon contained before he can do anything that is catastrophic that is irreversible but they detest each other so much that they can't bear to let the other Celestial win despite the stakes and it ends with them failing MISERABLY.

That would definitely be a turn for the books. Res has a crush on Maxwell. I wonder how Grape would take it?

I’ve wondered what it would be like if someone else showed an interest in Max. Max seems to be okay with Grape swooning of muscled guys and seems to now accept her relationship with Peanut. I’d kind of like to see how Grape would react should the roles be reversed.

I would be hoping that Grape will be fine with it the same way Max is with her blushing and squeeing over handsome and buff men that cross her path.

I think it would depend on who showed an interest in Max, Grape would probably be more open to a relationship with someone like Sabrina or a Tarot then she would with Res. If’s sure that Grape would come around and accept their love eventually, but it might take her a little bit longer.

Falstaff and Truck try to become a pair of handymen--err... handy raccoons and try to fix some broken objects around Jess's treehouse.

It does not end well and Jessica goes right after them as they run for their lives.

I could see Falstaff doing it as a scam, with Truck following along.

Grape’s original “parents” (the ones that abandoned her as a kitten) discover that a purple cat could be worth a bit of money. They try to petnap her but are foiled by Peanut, Maxwell, and Tarot.

New to the forum and this may have already been posted but I think a great arc would be King's dad coming to Babylon Gardens to find his son(Joel) and make ammends for his hard childhood.

If it has been posted I don't see it anywhere but I think there was a variation where he comes and claims that he now "owns" King.

That could be a fun read too. I think at some point, King's past will come up in some way or another. Maybe the pets that he ran away with show up.

While that would be really cool if it happened, I think some other members pointed out that since it happened when Joel was a child and he was in his early-30s when we first saw him that they might have been long since deceased. But I'm not 100% sure on that.

I could see the pets being deceased. The dad could still be alive, though.

I think that the dad might show up rather than the pets even though Rick probably doesn't plan on any of those things happening.

I sort of don't think that Jess will mind at least for the first few days of Cori's scam as long as it doesn't affect her. Once it starts to, then she will put him in his place. Most likely she would also force him to give everybody a refund too.

She’s shown to be rather hostile to those spreading false hope. She was like that with Zach until she learned that he didn’t condone those actions, either.
