I actually think Earl could handle the zany exploits that Peanut and Grape get into. What he couldn't handle is just laying in bed being unable to do anything.

All of those cheap flings that Spo had while in Europe come back and attack him for stringing them all along.

And one mouse may fall in love with Joey which infuriates Squeak and she blames Spo.

She already had as a human. We saw her in her car at the zoo. What she needs is a smaller car or scooter.

Thanks, shoulda known that but, to be truthful, I kinda zoned out on that arc after a while. Rough patch.

Squeak tries to talk to Marion about Lois's paws. Marion is uninterested (and a bit weirded out).

That kind of thing would actually be interesting to see. At least Marion got changed into an omnivorous animal.

In an effort to cheer him up, Mungo takes Fox to a dog groomer (which is much more like a human nail salon in our universe). Fox is initially reluctant, but relaxes enough to be himself when he meets a new female dog.

Peanut finds an old bone that he sneaks into the house; later, he dreams of being a cave-dog living with dinosaurs and encountering Grape and other pals in unexpected roles. Earl breaks him out of his sleep world when the aroma of the somewhat nasty old bone causes him and Jill to tear the house apart trying to find it.

Tired of being overshadowed by his siblings, Simon sets put to earn his own money. He fails spectacularly at what he sets out to do but manages to turn a tidy profit.

Duchess receives a visit from a sister she hasn't seen in years and, to everyone's surprise, she's very, very nice. To make things worst, lovely sister becomes the belle of the Good Ol' Dogs Club, which means Duchess now has to endure visits from Rex, Yeltsin, Daisy, and all the other "louts and peasants". Oh what do ..... ?

Enter the Li'l Dino-Demon ......

Now that animals can run for office Duchess pulls out all the stops to launch a mayoral campaign, using her wealth and influence to win the election unopposed after paying the old mayor to just retire instead of seeking another term. Only once she's elected does she find out why no one even ran against her; River Ridge has the "weak mayor" set up to its municipal government common among many American cities. The city council has control of the community and makes all the real decisions with her duties mayor essentially being only ceremonial in purpose. At least she gets to ride in a convertible during the Fourth of July parade...and get funny looks when Bino comes along and hangs his head off the side of the car, tongue out, happy as can be.

Lana is tired of King and Bailey living rent-free in the boarding house and using money from the ECP on their pups so she cuts them off and orders them to get a job or else the family will be evicted.

Deciding to draw straws, the Bigglesworths go looking for a broom, only to learn their crazy cat-lady "mom" wrecked it. Then one of them remembers being chummy with Rex at Keene's sauna and they go looking for the gentle bulldog to see if he'd be their coach.

That probably would be a much better solution then just drawing straws since there are also so many of them that they would run out of straws. :?
