Eudoant bets Cerberus one of her giant chocolate chip cookies that he can entice Craig to Pandemonium and keep him there twenty-four hours. What the four-eared deer demon doesn't know is that Cerberus has some allies to spring the gullible kit - Keene, Breel, and the li'l dino-demon.

By the time that Fox decides he wants to give dating Spring and Summer a chance, he finds out they have already moved on with male angel dogs.

King, formerly Joel Robinson, discovers that he not only has a half brother he never knew about, named Mike Nelson, but that after his arrest and disappearance by chance Mike was the one hired to replace him in his janitorial position at a local institute. Unfortunately by the time our favorite Pembroke Welsh Corgi realizes this a completely separate set of misfortunes and mishaps that escalated to involving celestial beings has resulted in his brother meeting the same fate and being turned into a Cardigan Welsh Corgi named Bishop.

Max bets Bino that after he cross-dresses, Bino can't make one of the neighborhood dogs fall in love with him as they wouldn't recognize Bino in a dress. :P

Bino almost wins, but while plotting how to lord it over Max, he does his well-known slimy smirk and is found out.

The pets play a town-wide game of zombie laser tag, hosted by the Miltons to raise money for something. The survivors have to find the "antidote" and get it back to the manor while the zombies have to tap people to "infect" them.
Peanut's imagination is so vivid he thinks they're real zombies.
King gets a minigun somehow.
Karishad drives around a cardboard apocalypse truck of doom.
Bino hears about a prize and ends up betraying Duchess and wins, delivering the "antidote" to the manor, only to find out the prize was a job at Keene's new resturant.

I'm sure he would flip out at that and refuse the job also so it goes to the runner-up which happens to be Daisy.

In turn, Daisy hires Rex as a chef, Sasha as a decorator, and the place becomes a big hit with the after-school-crowd. Daisy even hires Brunson as a waiter. The restaurant reviewer gives the place Four-Stars on his first visit. However, when Brunson lets slip that the cooks and wait-staff are dogs, he demands the health authorities shut the place down.

I had a very vivid dream last night about a potential follow up for Steward

At a high school party Marion and Lois attend, people start randomly turning into animals. The duo notice Steward at the helm, stealthily using the coin to continue transforming more humans, but Marion manages him to tackle him and activate a counter curse that changes everyone back into humans.

I know it most likely won’t happen that way but I do hope we see a return to these guys one way or another.

Gale's former partner and Pueblo's father reenters their lives and becomes a part of the Equal Chance Program and also gets a job which leads to tension between him and Gale as they split up in the first place because he accused Gale of having feelings for Miles.

I'll link you to a strip featuring 'Our IX lives', which is a zero budget soap opera in the 'Breaking Cat News' comic.

The police dogs end up as Kanine Keystone Kops in a send up of silent era films via an exaggerated adventure pitting them against a literal mustache-twirling old timey Snidely Whiplash-esque villain. Fox and Kevin borrow Bill's motorcycle to try and outrace a train after their foe ties Sasha to the tracks while the others get into comedic antics trying to help out, culminating in a pie fight for some reason.

Marion takes a psych class in college and notes the professor asking him to do little tasks for him. It's only after describing these to Lois that he realizes that he's been put through a series of problem solving experiments.

Bino, while spying on Lois and Marion, sees her dog Devo use a syringe. He immediatly goes to whip up a furor against them assuming the worst. Turns out that it's insulin and Devo is diabetic.

That made me think of another arc that is way too dark. Since King was transformed from a human into a dog, he has a MUCH shorter lifespan and his family and friends have to deal with it.

Fido quits the K-9s because he is looking for a change in career and wants to do something different as he never was really that interested in becoming a K-9 anyway. He just wanted to do it to help out the neighborhood. Fox gets promoted to his place.

This might not be the place for this, but here's where I'll do it. I've suggested a number of times that it might be fun to see the Housepets gang play baseball. So, in that context, here are some lineups for four teams:

"THE GAMERS"
Pitchers Peanut and Fido
Catcher Maxwell
1st Base Grape
2nd Base Fox
3rd Base Sasha
Shortstop King
R. Field Daisy
Center Tarot
L.Field Bailey
Designated
Hitter Mungo

'THE DARK-SIDERs"
Pitchers BINO and Duchess
Catcher Yeltsin
lst Base Tiger
2nd Base Lester
3rd Base Griswold
Shortstop Sten
R.Field Karo
Center Boris
L.Field Coyote
Designated
Hitter Rex

"THE WILD BUNCH"
Pitchers Gale and Jessica
Catcher Itzuki
1st Base Zack
2nd Base Kix
3rd Base Custom Ink
Shortstop Truc
R.Field Corey (Cilantro)
Center Miles
L.Field Falstaff
Designated
Hitter Karishad

"THE SHADOW SQUAD"
Pitchers Bruce and Roosevelt
Catcher Marvin
1st Base Poncho
2nd Base Sabrina
3rd base Dallas
Shortstop Devo
R.Field Joey
Center Kevin
L.Field Terrance
Designated
Hitter Lois

UMPIRES
Great Kitsune
Cerberus
Henry Milton
Eudoant
Jeeves
Ms. Macguillicutty (She heard that snicker - NO PIE FOR YOU!!!)

The evil heartless neighbor who owned Fluffy and tried to feed Grape, Fox and Max to her comes back to the street and hasn't changed one bit except having a new illegal pet and he plans to feed King and Bailey's pups to it.
