Actually, it might be fun to know if there was a story or a reason for all of those names. I'm sure King didn't just yank them out of a hat.

Since skunks are able to spray when they are very young, I expect either the pups to end up stinking of King to get doused in it.

Or both.

Speaking of the pups, we see more interactions between Olive and Craig.

I am not a fan of siblings dating a pair of other siblings so I would take a hard pass on that. Plus I still feel that if Draig ever met Peanut again she would still be in love with him.

Turns out, Res is engaged to a Canadian kitty. Max, Tarot, and Peanut are all very happy for the two of them, Grape less so.

Oooh! Oooh! I have an addition to that! Grape tries to make Res think he is not happy and just doing it to make his owner happy which jeopardizes their friendship until Grape spends time with her and they become close friends and she is a maid-of-honor at the wedding!

Gambit and Tarmac, the two otters from the zoo, escape and take refuge in Jessica's treehouse. However, after spending time there and experiencing the lunacy and eccentricities of the tenants, they decide they were happier back at the zoo and return.

This being Canada the problems must be worked out in the traditional fashion...curling.

On a quiet summer night at the Yarn Ball while the band plays soft Jazz, Sabrina gets a little into her orange soda and tells Marvin and Jasper - who are also gently buzzed - the story of her relationship with Maxwell and how he brought her and Fido together.

Steward is revealed to have an identical twin named Melville who is the polar opposite of him to everyone's detriment. The still human Melville supringly turns out to be "the evil twin" as he is an animal rights activist but a mean one who opposes the ECP for "not letting animals be animals" and harasses owners for not setting their pets free from "oppression." Babylon Garden is forced to turn to Steward in the hope the badger can stop his brother's incessant badgering from ruining the neighborhood.

So, a member of PeTA?
Side note, Steward is Steward's last name, so Steward's twin would likely also be Steward. You could try finding a good nega version of the first name, Herman.

Thanks. I'll go with Melville for the classic literary reference.

Judging by Kathy Garrison's 'Ursa Major' post in the latest strip, she might be up for it...

Sasha wants to learn how to become a parent so she asks King and Bailey who tell her they really can't teach her because nobody can teach you to become a parent.

Then Lana comes along and tells them to TRY or their whole family will get kicked out of the house.

Hey we already established that besides looking pretty, Lana can also be a large brat.

The little Dino-Demon shows up at Keene's house. He want to make up for abandoning Keene and Breel so he offers them three wishes. Breel warns Keene not to do that, that no matter how good Dino-Demon's intentions may be, Infernal magic always leads to trouble. Keene doesn't listen. Messes emerge.

Bino decides the Good Ol' Dog's Club should celebrate his Birthday with presents and cake and music and all. He's even willing to let Peanut invite Grape as long as she doesn't eat all the dog biscuits. Predictably plans go awry, complicated by Devo deciding the invitation to Grape entitles him to invite his new cat … Lois!

The planned route of a new highway has to be rerouted into River Ridge after the initial route is deemed impassible due to the unmovable remains of a cursed temple blocking it. This immediately makes the land near the town of River Ridge super valuable and prompts Celia Milton to develop a scheme to steal the town by driving all the residents away through the use of a criminal gang. She also uses her pull to bribe the county sheriff into retiring and when the county government can find no applicants to take on the role and put things right a series of practical jokes at the police department that gets out out of hand leads to Sgt. Ralph being appointed as the new sheriff, much to the chagrin of the local residents who now have a dog as their sheriff. Drifting in his fellow K9 officers as his new deputies, and Delusional Steve who was in custody for harassing mice at the local laboratory but proves quite good at confusing the opposition, it's up Sheriff Ralph and his posse to clean up the town and restore peace to area.

Watching replays of the Olympics, Pueblo becomes fascinated with acrobatics. Gale, however, does not share his enthusiasm and is not at all encouraging. Then Pueblo discovers someone who is actually a superb gymnast but keeps his talents hidden. Tha'ts the little cat's first challenge, to try to persuade this one-time champion to become his trainer.

The second problem … it's Yeltsin!
