Better color check than the Sherwin-Williams tabs, eh? Nice work.

I read this stip again...

I couldn't understand why Breel was mentioning Maxwell of all pets, have they even ever been seen together?
Then I thought it was suspicious that Maxwell apparently enjoys baking when he's alone?
Wait... "baking"...? That seems to ring a bell...

But, we know Maxwell bakes from the two parter cooking competition in heaven. I'm pretty sure the implication was him making special brownies (and such), especially given that Rick has wanted to move away from the idea of smoking catnip ever since the aborted catnip arc.

It during the 3rd rereading of Heaven's Not Enough when I noticed that Joel wears a similar bandana to Bailey's.

The Cast Page on the old website also had alt-texts for each image, and the alt-text for Simon Milton is as follows:

Which came back to me when I stumbled upon this one-off from 2013:

Max was at Milton manor for most of Temple Chasers 2, and for a time afterwards, quite possible he ran into Breel then especially since Breel is quite the friendly marten.

So if the two of them meet up and know each other we will know that Breel saw Max during the arc after he got out of the temple. That will also prove that Rick is excellent at keeping track of everything. :D

I think we are supposed to understand the the prediction Tarot was talking about was being involved in the adventure in Pete's temple.

It took me this long to realize that Craig and Draig are Pete and Dragon’s mortal forms.

How this didn’t occur to me on my first reading is surprising
That sounded better in my head

Draig seems to have settled into mortality a lot better than Craig has and she seems to like it and does love her mother. Craig on the other hand is resisting it and wants no part of it plus has some of his megalomaniac tendencies.

Yeah their personalities seem to match pretty well with the celestials they used to be, but for me that just never clicked until not too long ago. My first reading in early July was essentially me speenrunning the comic’s entire 13-year run because I wanted to get caught up before Rick started posting again. Needless to say I had a lot more time than I thought

I finished all 2,000 pages in less than 48 hours. I don’t see myself pulling that off again.
That sounded better in my head

It took me 2 weeks to read the whole comic from the beginning to the current strip and that was back in 2014. Reading all the strips in 48 hours is incredibly impressive.

Pete's fox name is Craig, which means rock- a play on St. Pete(r) being the "rock" of Christianity.

Does explain it. And it makes it even more clever that Spirit Dragon became Draig. Ddraig being Welsh for Dragon.

I think the information about Draig's name being the word "dragon" in a different language was revealed early on. Not by Rick but by someone else when we heard her mortal name.

The implication here is that Karishad isn’t mortal. The only ones left on earth when the big displacement happened were celestials of some sort, like Craig and Draig and Breel. We’ve had other hints that Kari is special, but this is a big hint right here.

I don't know if it has been established one way or another that Kari is a Celestial or just special in some other way. He definitely isn't just a normal fox.

That will likely remain a Noodle Incident, I.e. something that could be built up over time but never explained.

Though some have theorized that it was whether or not they thought Joel would turn out to be a furry.

I just realized there’s no reason why Grape would be holding up a sign. They know what each other looks like.

I'm pretty sure Grape did that so Res could find her easily if the airport was more crowded and there were too many people. Someone holding a sign doesn't necessarily mean that they don't know who that person it. It is so that person can find them easier.

I always just assumed we were never meant to know. Provides King with some more mystery. I also wondered for a while what happened that his mother was able to enter Heaven when she had abused Joel and his pets but since the whole Nega-Breel plot was established I realize she was just the "good attributes" of Mrs. Robinson and the abusive and nasty parts descended into Hell.

I feel like "The Bet" like "The Game" that they played (and kept losing) was just a running gag. It was totally nonsensical and never meant to have any relevance to the plot.

I am pretty sure that using "Carp" in place of "Crap" is commonplace for all instances of the word in the comic for any character despite their species.

I don't know why because "Crap" isn't a curse word.
