Housepets: Beautiful Nightmares

BEWARE! This is my first fan fiction and an attempt at putting a sad look into a writing piece. Please correct me on any grammar mistakes and etc, I'm a bit rusty having been a few months off school and such. Anyway, I hope you enjoy!
[PROLOGUE]
Tarot sat at the top of a tree in the heart of the vast forest of Babylon Gardens. It was a fairly big tree, tall enough to give a decent view of the town. She wore a sad frown on her face and was deep in thought.
"Oh Dragon," the golden colored canine whispered softly, as if praying to a spirit. "He's going to turn out just like the other four, isn't he?"
Valentines Day was tomorrow, and her current boyfriend Peanut was beginning to act strangely around her. He always had a pained expression on his face whenever they proclaimed their love to each other, and was beginning to spend less and less time with her. Tears started falling from her face. She knew what was coming. It always happened on February 14th. Which made it more heartbreaking when they said "I need to tell you something."
But at least every time they left her for something else, it was always for the best.
Right?
RIGHT?!
Tarot's small fit of weeping suddenly transformed into full out uncontrollable sobbing. When will I find someone who actually loves me? The small dog whispered in her mind. Not someone who just needs some comfort AND THEN THEY LEAVE ME WITH NO HESITATION. She was starting to snap. Tarot was getting fed up with this. Year after year of "I foresaw you and came to you in your time of need." Four years of giving all her love to a cat or a dog and getting nothing in return.
And it was all for Dragon and for the "greater good" of the pet in question.
Tarot's sobbing stopped, and she soon fell asleep.
Oh how she would regret that decision.
I could have stopped at the RIGHT?! But I felt it wasn't long enough. Oh, and if there is any bad logic in this, please tell me! I was never good with that stuff
