So, I wasn't satisfied with how Vex turned out regarding being the final boss, so made him more of a minion. Instead, made someone else to act as the final boss. Here is Marduk, named after a god of Babylon.

I actually really like this redesign.

Can I ask what his Kit is? Or is it like a master hand kinda thing where the player doesn't really play him normally so they're all kinds of broken?

uhhh, His moveset and what his plan is. Zone you out, Rushdown. Turtle and counter.

Oh, I'm not too involved in the "technical" stuff, and movesets are still being decided upon for the other characters. Only suggestion I recall was that his Infernal form would be one of those "stage-sized" bosses. My best example of this would be how Galactus is fought in Marvel VS. Capcom 3.

Ah. I understand completely and I guess that makes sense. I do wonder how that will work in a platform fighter unless you go the SubSpace route with it.

If anyone is curious, who wants to read the story I've come up with for this so far? It goes to a fourth chapter, and it's set up like one of those "choose your own adventure" things, because I used a program that is meant for that. We're aiming that there will be some changes depending on choices made, though these are as simple as "who's going to fight this time."

Note, the first few entries were made a REALLY long time ago, with further sections being more recent. Hence, the opening is very 3rd person while the following ones read more like a script for a play. I'll also be scaling back the writing in the future, as it's a heck of a lot of work to continue to do this with an ever-expanding roster.

Same here. As of now, I can only write a story if I have a co-writer. That is why I latched on to dryideabat and I'm sorry that he had to waste a lot of time dealing with me.
