(Meta-fic) Please Stop Letting Grape in Here

Post by Buster »

has anyone else read "Please Stop Eating The Hell Butterflies"? it's a bleach fanfic where basically captain yamamoto keeps leaving passive aggressive notes in public places pointing out what the others are doing wrong, and most of them take this as a challenge to see just how much they can get away with, getting completely flanderized and going so far off the rails by the end that im pretty sure they're over the horizon from canon territory.

would anyone be interested in something similar but with Bino and the GODC?

I guess worth a shot. I'm wholly unfamiliar with anything Bleach, but sounds like some good, silly fun.

Oh my god, that sounds great. I’d love to read that.
Play The Hayseed Knight. This isn’t self promotion, I just really like the game.

You ever realize that the two longest pieces of literature in existence are both fanfics? Weird right?

Part one: The Game

Post by Buster »

So, May as well start at the beginning... Each part will be in relation to one of the comic's arcs, at least up until i inevitably misplace the plot rails, and the comics arcs start getting overwritten with fic shenanigans.

------------------------------------------------------------------------

To all members of the GODC,

So, it occurred to me, we have this nice big bulletin board that we're not using for anything, so I may as well use it for club announcements.

-Bino

-----

To all members of the GODC,

Stop letting Grape into meetings. No, he is not an honorary member.

-Bino

-----

To all members of the GODC,

I lost The game. :D

-Bino.

Part two: Cat Lover

Post by Buster »

To all members of the GODC,

Why the heck is grape making a sound like a weed whacker?
AND WHY DID YOU LET HIM IN?!

-Bino

-----

To all members of the GODC,

Peanut is hereby banned from the Good Old Dogs Club, For life.

-Bino

-----

To all members of the GODC,

I have created a list of words that are not to be used because nobody else knows what they mean.
Felinophile has been added to the 'stop using overly fancy words' list.

-Bino

-----

To all members of the GODC,

We need to get membership cards. someone get on that.

-Bino

-----

To all members of the GODC,

And now you're letting Tangerine into metings! Quit it with the cats! Especially the defective one that caries a 'pet' mouse around with him instead of just eating it.

Also has anyone seen Joey?

-Bino

-----

To all members of the GODC,

Why did you let tiger in? i thought i said NO CATS. seriously is nobody watching the door?

-Bino

-----

To all members of the GODC,

Okay, I know he looks like a dog, but he's clearly just some wierd cat breed that looks strangely Dogish. No one in their right mind would name an actual dog tiger, and enabling that delusion is just mean. cut it out.

decided the thread needed a proper name.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

To all members of the GODC,

Apparently there are two new raccoons in the neighborhood, who are deathly afraid of brooms, if their behavior when I ran into them this morning is anything to go by.

-Bino

-----

Can someone teach Tiger how to take a joke?

-Bino

-----

Would Lester and Dallas please stop discussing game night during meetings. you're distracting other dogs from hearing me talk.

-Bino

-----

To all members of the GODC,

while i appreciate you lot managing to keep Grape and Tangering out this time, apparently max and jasper are spying on us now? what the howl?

-Bino

-----

To all members of the GODC,

still waiting on those membership cards.

-Bino

-----

To all members of the GODC,

Why is Joey hanging out with Tangerine's mouse?

-Bino

-----

To Rex,

No, Hallmark does not make membership cards. Put those back.

-Bino

-----

To all members of the GODC,

Rambunctorium has been added to the list.

-Bino

can someone fill me in on what happened friday? my head still hurts.

-Bino

To all members of the GODC,

Peanut's membership has been reinstated.

To all members of the GODC,

Tiger, get that pumpkin off your head.

-Fido

-----

To all members of the GODC,

I know it's not what any of you want to hear, but Rex is sick, so we need a volunteer to take over catering the Halloween party.

-Fido

-----

To all members of the GODC,

Uh... I kinda meant a dog, Grape. It isn't really fair to make a guest handle member duties. I appreciate the effort though.

-Fido

-----

To all members of the GODC,

I don't know how you got ahold of that squad car, or how you got it up a tree, but get it down before Ralph and Kevin get here!

-Fido

-----

Put the squirrel back.

-Fido

-----

I don't care if joey has a mouse, put the squirrel back.

-Fido

-----

No, the problem is that he's tied up and roped to your collar. it clearly isn't the same thing.

-Fido

-----

Oh... Well fine you don't have to leave, but can you two not do that in public?

-Fido

-----

To all members of the GODC,

Happy Haloween everyone!
Also a special thanks to Peanut for filling in with the catering.

-Fido

-----

To the guard dogs,

claiming peanut and grape got in by teleportation is not a valid excuse, and 'it made a zonk sound and then poof they were there' is not helping your case. Also since when is peanut allowed in?!

-Bino

-----

To all members of the GODC, especially Fido,

Peanut is banned, again.

-Bino

-----

No he isn't.

-Fido

-----

Yes he is.

-Bino

-----

I just put it to a vote, No he isn't.

-Fido

-----

That vote was rigged!
What does liking peanut butter squares have to do with club membership?!

-Bino

-----

You're not getting out of Christmas shopping that easily.

-Fido

-----

To all members of the GODC,

Next time someone uses the line "put a sock in it" please make sure there are no strange foxes nearby with pilfered laundry. i'm going to be tasting fabric softener for a week...

-Bino

-----

To all members of the GODC,

Wait where the heck did Halloween go? I got clonked with the pan in summer. I wasn't in the hospital THAT long was I?

-Bino

-----

Normally I wouldn't complain about this, but who broke max?

-Bino

-----

To all members of the GODC,

Okay, seriously, how does tangerine keep getting in? AND YOU LET GRAPE IN AGAIN!
WHY ARE MARVIN AND TIGER IN HERE TOO?! WHO KEEPS LETTING CATS IN?!

-Bino

-----

NO YOU ARRENT 'JUST BORROWING OUR STEREO' FOR THE YARN BALL! GET YOUR OWN!

-Bino

The dogs getting a police car stuck up a tree while trick or treating doesn't count as far enough off the rails to you? O.o

the next arc involving dogs is SPO's introduction and i have something special planned for that.

I’m the opposite. Part of the fun for me is trying to figure out what events of the comic is each message referring to from (mostly) Bino’s perspective, making off the rails ones less satisfying.

Of course, when Bino is involved things have a tenancy to go off the rails all on their own. Even if you're following the comic precisely.

Which im not, something that should have been obvious from things like the squad car up a tree, or peanuts teleporter working instead of being a gag.

To the faithful among you,

the sacred order of the mauled mailman accepts your offering, the gods will be pleased.

Sasha,

I know your trying to help your dad, but please stop trying to pick up other people's owners, we're getting complaints.
Also i don't think he meant 'pick up' as literally as you've taken it.

To all members of the GODC,

Who put a pink dress, aisoft gun, and a domino mask in my closet?
Also why?

-Bino

-----

To all members of the GODC,

First tangerine has a mouse, Then joey has what I swear is the same mouse, then there's that wierd squirrel, now Fido has a mouse buddy too? this is becoming a thing now?

-Bino

To uh, all the big dogs and stuff,

I'm apparently Mr Bino's helper now? So no mousetraps please? (they really hurt...)

Grape,

Claiming you're with peanut doesn't count, you're not a rodent. get out.

-Bino

To all members of the GODC,

We get it, you're new in town. you can stop introducing yourself every five seconds.
Or at least say something other than that one greeting over and over. anything. anything at all.

What do you mean Daisy's been here for years?

-Bino

-----

To all members of the GODC,

Huh... the car is still up there... I didn't think Fido was being serious about that.

...where did the wheels go?

-Bino

To the guard dogs,

I apologize for not believing you earlier.

-Bino

-----

To Peanut,

STOP TELEPORTING TO MEETINGS! OR AT THE LEAST DONT LAND ON ME NEXT TIME!

To all memol members of the GODC,

Mr Bino wants to know if anybody finds a remote they don't recognize. His collar's going crazy and its too tough for me to chew through...
