thinking of him as a counterpart to Zach in a way, so i would go with a name that starts with A, like Abel or, humorously, Answer. As in, he 'thinks' he has all the answers.

I want to stick to the floral motif with these characters, so going more towards "Zales."

I'll see what I can whip up for the second rabbit.

Also Zales is the name of a jewelry chain.

Though hard to tell, I was meaning for him to have stripes on his back as well.

I imagine that he and Zales don't get along despite having near-similar ranks. I picture this guy being the much more level-headed of the group.

Here's a thought; you fight Zales first. Then later on, when you look for Benjamin, you find him held captive by Zales and this guy, leading to a double battle. Upon defeat, Zales insists on fighting some more, despite being overpowered, while this guy simply releases Benjamin. They lost, they should accept it. He's not as fanatic about Efran's goals as Zales is, though he is respectful of his chief. Zales runs away in fear of being completely outmatched, while this guy simply walks away, warning the team that Efran is significantly more powerful than either of them, and has the backing of a celestial.

Going to start November's project on the 1st of the month. It's likely going to be done at the end of November since the focus is on adding alot of items and weapons and getting into the tougher enemies at this point, having health at the range of 300-1500. Adding some dolphins to shake things up a bit.

E and D weapons will be added. Trying to decide whether they will drop from the bosses or chests or a mix of both. there will be 5 bosses this time, each on two floors. the floor before them will be much larger and have the most chests, but it will get you setup for the bosses on the following floor, who will require some strategy.

Some good testing came back and i decided that King and Bailey may need some buffing. King's early game is nice, but his healing hurts and the late game is showing some suffering. Going to buff his health pool and his magic damage and give him some new spells. Funny enough, Bailey isn't hitting hard enough, which I thought she would, but Fox is outdoing her and it's not even the levels doing it - it's her moves. Might have to change them a bit.

That being said, next month is going to be very busy. Wish me the best :3

Finally did something, albeit through another set of rotoscoping.

Boss drop for Nue and Olde.

Got these really pretty RPG dice some time ago specifically for this purpose. In the end, only made a picture with two dice. The third one was another picture of the 20-sided that I grafted on. There's a reason those specific numbers are gold, by the way.

I get that it's a completely different kind of RPG, we could say that it was when Nue and Olde tried the genre out.

Well, got my idea for Kitsune's collar.

I'm just not sure if I should add some sort of "string" to keep it all together. Also, just guessed on one of the orbs. Checked this these strips for their colors,
Image
Image
but I could only really make out eight orbs, but I felt, "nine tails, let's do nine orbs."

So I made an assumption based on the rest of the colors and where they fell in the color wheel. How's it look?

They look really nice. I agree that it looks like Rick was putting one on each tail there.
I think no string. Let them float.

Thanks. Here's an idea; you need to find the individual orbs to get this collar. I suggest cutting the first submission into pieces, as the one with the aura has overlapping flames which wouldn't look too good if it was cut up. We could say that getting all nine pieces gave them their power back. As for effect, not sure what hasn't been done yet. I'm reminded of the beads in Okami, getting all of them granted you unlimited ink powers and unlimited health while equipped. There were just so many to find, and the last one was an UNBELIEVABLE ordeal to earn, so by the time you finally won it, you definitely earned it.

Also, working on the boss drop for the Activist, should be done very soon.

.......okay, we need to do something with that idea, I seriously forgot about that AGAIN until I went thread digging the other day.

Bruce and Roosevelt live in the zoo as does Tarmac and that other otter I can't remember the name of.

I've considered a bat character for the Teox chapter. Aside from Nevermore and Clayton, you're right, i dont have avian ocs. Maybe i could try to come up with a lackey for Nevermore.

well, them two are fine, but i meant a unique roo to the game :3

November 1st begins. Went ahead and added some quick ideas for accessories for the megaphone, the cape and the shields that was made earlier. The Megaphone I managed to make it equippable and give an ability to the wearer to shout at the enemy and stun them. fun times.

Made some changes to Kitsune's collar since it's now looking very magic based - near perfect magic resistances. As in, you only take %1 damage from all elements except one. What one that will be hasn't been determined yet. probably Darkness

Once i get all the items straighten away today and tomorrow, i start making the next 10 floors. I shall dub these floors the Boss bonanza floors. This is going to be fun :3

Yeah, I intended for them to be key items which wouldn't be equipped. I mean, if this is for testing, test away.

What are your proposed ideas for the other boss drops?

The purpose of the NPCs is to liven up the world. The zoo already has plenty of characters, so it doesn't feel necessary to add more there.

To be fair, i'm not exactly sure what the boss drops will do, but i might as well add some properties to them during the test to see what they could potentially be, then just remove their abilities afterwards.

Infact, i think that's what i'm going to do for the boss drops during this demo just for pure testing fun. The Gargoyle wings will give the person float and avoid floor damage, which i might start introducing this month.

Update: As predicted - this month is turning into a fun chore, but one thing's for certain - i'm happy to have gotten the weapons all straightened away. I also went ahead and added a new fun experiment into these next floors - Armor and Accessories, something I'm hitting myself in the head for not adding sooner. Perfect time to add them for the monsters we're about to encounter. We don't appear to have much armor for this game, so i went ahead and made some dummy armor to test along with a few dummy accessories for testing purposes. New Mosnters are ready, now making 5 bosses. You'll have to play the game to see them. No spoilers :D

Wasn't KingFan suppose to do the armor if he ever returned?

I made a list of at least 20 armor so far (10 General, 5 Light and 5 Heavy) and 10 accessories. Currently the accessories are the shields that was made up earlier like the wooden shield and the SWAT shield. Unlike collars, they will not be worn by everyone. General will be for everyone, Light will be for the less beefy and magical characters while Heavy will be for the power houses.

Kingfan did at least leave a list, but it's mostly things I still can't draw very well. Several of the submitted shields are from said list.

Also, I'll admit that I like that idea for armor classification.

EDIT: Found it.
