After re-reading this comment I realized I sounded like I wasn't giving the artist enough credit, which I intend to fix now by saying that this latest Grapenut picture by Ende is absolutely superb, ridiculously cute and a fine example of artistic talent.

Traditional just means it wasn't made on a computer.

It was just good old pencil and paper and took it with my cell phone camera. (I do have a scanner but its not hooked up yet..)

Nothing inherently. I do a lot of doodling on my tablet. The problem is that, like every other form of art, it takes practice to make quality work with a tablet. I don't know, I didn't think it was that hard to adjust to a tablet. I feel like my doodle skills have actually gotten a bit better with the tablet then it would have with just paper and pencil. In fact I couldn't imagine what I'd still be without it, but I guess it's just a matter of opinion...

Oh, I would say my doodle skills have gotten better off of a tablet, as well. It's the quality work that takes time and effort to create, and that frustrates people.

Quality work always take time and effort regardless of the medium, be it digital or traditional. So if those people are frustrated by the work then it wouldn't really matter what they do they'd still be frustrated either way.
