Another bit of fanart

I do, but part of the problem is they live together as pets. =P

maturity i think may have sounded extreme too, because when i say mature, i view Maxwell as mature in a sense he plans things better and likes to right his wrongs. How far he'll go is one of the things i like to see about Maxwell in the future. A genuine gentleman kind of cat that likes to be snarky while at it. something i'm sure Grape can relate to.

The more obvious moment of Peanut's maturity in my book is the one to put others before himself. I'm sure Maxwell does this too, but i'm convinced that Peanut will not waiver in this area while Maxwell will. This has a stronger, long lasting appeal on Peanut's part as time goes on of course, and although i doubt it'll affect his relationship with Grape in the future, that's part of the enjoyment in the future story i would like to see.

Part of the enjoyment i find also in Maxwell and Grape's relationship is that you know there's going to be faults, but what kind of faults are what grab readers like me. We know Maxwell is a great guy, but he's not a main character, just a close second. here, we got Maxwell that's setup to look like Peanut's foil. it's just as much as how people expected Tarot to be Grape's foil, but instead was just easily accepted by Peanut.

As for feelings for one another in a personal perspective, i tend to say i like how similar the two are since they are both widely known types of cats in modern life and i'm sure their traits reflect this: Grape is the tomboyish, snarky indoor cat while Maxwell is the street-smart, devious outdoor cat. they are both similar, but one is indoors, one is outdoors. cue a humorous pony tailed fable, except Grape is on the fridge while Max is at the bottom!

Nay! Let's talk about fanart...... translation: Let's get back on topic. And that can be done by someone finding/drawing more fanart.

Does editing one of Rick's picture to be funny count as fanart?

EDIT:

Yes, it may look small, but in reality, that's some new material, called Ironium Heavitum, which is really heavy, like, 1.000 pounds >_>.

He also rips three phone books at once every morning, and does 500 push-ups every before going to the gym. Activities at gym shown on picture.

I got a good suggestion:

Grape suiting up Maxwell to be the Headless Horseman and then Peanut as Ichabod.

I'll leave the interpertation up to the artist. =P

Was this really your first time coloring? If so, you did a great job.

Yeah, it took forever to do. I basically just opened it in GIMP and fiddled with all the color settings until it was black and white. Still don't know what I did, and I think the uncolored version looks better anyway. Also, here's just pregnant Grape. I drew it at the same time as the other to hammer out what she should look like.

Yeah, I think you might have used threshold, once you do that coloring is easy.

Go to the info thread, and go to the "Fan Sketches" section. Look at "Cowlinator's" Sketches. Now, if I'm not mistaken, I'm fairly sure this has been found before, and Jasper-Bear is the same artist, who we more commonly know as "Toboe" here on the forums.
