To be honest, I wanted to draw either the anime-style sparkly eyes (like how Nick does it) or real cat eyes, but I didn't dare to try, as I was afraid it might spoil the drawing as a whole, so I just left it empty.

I always draw the eyes last, because it's the 'soul' of a portrait sketch, and screwing them can pretty much mess up the whole thing big time. Oh, and also I sometimes get spooked when drawing pupils facing the viewer (the reason why I drew Grape's eyes on the right looking downwards).

Anyway, thanks for all the comments. I might get another one done.... in a month or so *facedesks*

Alas, the dreaded love triangle creeps back into Grape's life. The poor girl's fanbase will forever make her red at this point.

I figured I could post this one here. Just a sketch of how I imagined Peanut in Valerios fanfic. Long story short: first is pretty much the same as in the canon comic, second is when he leaves for K-9 academy for some time and like the other police dogs he gains some meat over the bones in progress. Last one is when he finishes up his fitness training later on after he quits the academy.

That and I wanted an excuse of drawing a bit taller Peanut.

Now i know why i always wanted to see Peanut in the K-9 unit. And no, not because he's buff today. Really nicely done =)

It's impossible in a Housepets logical way, but i would love to see Maxwell with something similar on. Maybe bomb Squad cats =O
