You could've used a curve tool, it's much simpler to use once you get a hold of it, makes it easier and makes it look better too.
Softwares with good curve tools are "Paint.NET", "Paint Tool Sai", Photoshop and Gimp, I'd recommend P.Net and Gimp, as both are great, free tools (and easy to learn too!).

If you don't get the joke here, you should really be ashamed of yourself.

So, ya, there were a bunch of problems with this picture - my scanner killed the colours and high-lighted the white space because it really loves doing that, and when I was inking the pencil lines I did his left eye wrong, making him stare off in no particular direction. In the pencil version, he was looking towards the viewer and it actually didn't look half bad. The end result is that he looks a little stoned, but hey, if you accept the aborted catnip arc as canon, that's entirely possible.

Yeah, so, think I'll develop my own style before I do any more fan art. Rick's doesn't seem to work very well for me.

I'm working on an image in a new style, and figured I'd post a work-in-progress picture. I haven't drawn in the hands yet because the ones I did in pencil are so terrible I have to redo them digitally. Ya, so, just lines, and very messy ones at that, but I feel it is a large improvement over the tripe I posted previously.

Also: YAY worst walking pose evar. I should probably work on that sort of thing.

Huh, I've been really pre-occupied with internship research and life in general, I rarely get the chance to draw anymore, even though there's a mountain of ideas piling up in my head.

So, when I got some free time this weekend, I jumped onto it and drew this.

Deepavali is a major celebration by Hindus, Sikhs and Jains all over the world including Malaysia, and it's this upcoming Wednesday.
Dunno why I drew this first of all things, but might as well finish it when I still have the time.

'Deepavali Nalvaazhtukkal' roughly means Happy Deepavali in Tamil. I don't have any Hindi or Tamil fonts in my laptop >.<
Anyway, if there are anyone celebrating it in the forums, Happy Diwali to you guys and gals XD

P/s: Took me like 20 hours to finish. The icons are an afterthought, but I think they look cute, so I might do more of them later.
P/s 2: Here's how it looks like when I was working on it, just wanna show for no reason at all. And off I go, my SV's gonna get me if I didn't finish the presentation soon xwx

Your style improved when it comes to characters

Changes are noticeable, especially on faces. You got closer to Mr. Griffin's Housepets! style.

But I think you should still work on the perspective of floor. I understand you tried to show us this colorful painting (which I like it

), but don't you have a feeling that this bowl with green pigment is going to slid down soon?

Wow Frooxius that is very interesting picture I can make out quite a few things in it already but give people some time before I point them out plus I want to try and find more before I say anything. I really like it it looks great I love the surreal look of it it should take a while to pick a part.
