WELCOME TO HOUSEPETZ: SURVIVORS UNTIED V.3 (Please be sure to update your character sheets)!

Simple Background:
Welcome to Kantra: A once thriving megalopolis, now home to those wanting to survive the after-effects of Z-Day (When the Dead began their assault on the world). Those lucky enough to escape the initial attacks and make it out of the city now either live in military camps or with one of the many factions roaming the wastelands and those who inhabit the city. All hope is not lost, however. Even as the world crumbles around them, the citizens of Kantra have not given up! They are determined to defend what's left and take their city back from the Dead! The citizens have fortified their positions against undead attack, and are eager to push back and do their part to survive. It is time for you to join them. It is time for you to play your own part in the reconstruction of society! Will you be a brilliant engineer, working to fortify and upgrade the weapons and facilities? Will you scout out the infested sections of Kantra and the Wilderness? Will you hunt and gather to bring in food for the hungry survivors, or force the undead back as a warrior? Perhaps you will be a doctor, healing the sick and injured, and tending to the needy. Whatever you choose, and whomever you are, your help is needed, both in the forts and out in the wilderness.
Will You Help Us?
Basic Roles:
Survivor - Your task is simple: Scavenge supplies, Try To Rebuild Society, and most importantly: SURVIVE
Military - If you are military, you'll either be tasked with watching the Evac House along with going into Candrilla sometimes to look for survivors or be one of the units trapped within the city
Exotics* - You guys are explorers so you can go where ever you want to scavenge and look for gear, along with aiding survivors by either helping them with what they are doing or taking them (with permission)
to outside the city to your safe house in the woods (Any survivors that are there are allowed back into the city to scavenge and look for survivors)
*Exceptions include: Wolves, Lizards, and Bears
*You can also be a part of The Nature Warriors gang
Specialized Skills:
Engineer - You are skilled in inventing, constructing, upgrading, reinforcing, modifying, hacking, or otherwise tinkering with equipment and facilities. You aren't the kind of person to be satisfied with a weapon you pick up unless it's been modded to have a chainsaw for a bayonet at least.
Scout - You are skilled at making your way through enemy lines as fast as possible and as silently as possible. You record everything you see, and take notes of everything you hear. When someone wants to know something about a dangerous place, you're the one to go there and get what you need.
Scavenger - When the world ends, you can't afford to be picky about where things come from. You enjoy first dibs on many different weapons and tools and medicine and food items. You enjoy this first pick because you're the one risking your neck to bring it all back to the other survivors.
Warrior - You shoot things. You blow things up. You run them over with your vehicle. You burn them with fire. Basically, your job is to get out in the thick of the undead and ask them politely with a big gun to leave. Plain and simple.
Doctor - Your job is to keep everyone alive in a world filled with death. It's a difficult job, but if anyone is to have any hope, it's a job that needs to be done. The undead aren't the only threat, after all. Sickness, disease, injury in dangerous environments, all of these things need to be fought off too, and your weapon is your medical kit.
Hunter/Gatherer - Much like the Scavenger, your job is to ensure the population is well fed and supplied. The difference is, you aren't interested in decade-old twinkies. You're after fresh fruit and herbs pulled straight out of the ground. You're after real meat to help your friends and family stay strong. And so, you hunt and you gather in the wilderness, where those things can be found.
More! - The above aren't the only things you can do, and you don't have to pick just one! Be creative! Your character is your own, and their story is yours. Mix and match your character's skills, or come up with one on your own!
THE MOST Very Important Rule:
NO KILLING OTHER SURVIVORS: You all have to work together to survive. You are allowed to get into fist fights with each other and the worst you are allowed to inflict is making one unconscious, but no killing others

1. Say, is this canon to the main HousepetZ Storyline?
Yes it is! Though consider this like a spin-off
2. Can pets or exotics get infected?
No, the way the virus works is that it only affects humans so pets are safe*
*If a pet/exotic does get infected, it'll be like a flu to them with the added zombie bite on them but can be cured
3. Can our character be related or have any sort of contact with the cast of HousepetZ?
No. As for contacts, it all depends on your intention of contact (ask me first) and, no, you can not be a Celestial's Avatar.
4. What types of animals/pets are allowed?
Standard ones you'd find in the HPU are allowed (If you are wanting to play an exotic* animal, your storyline will be much different)
*Exceptions include: Wolves, Lizards, and Bears as Kantra allows them to have their owns houses in the city
5. How violent is this RP, like do bodies remain or melt ala RE4?
You can say how a zombie dies, the shape of the bodies you encounter, or what wound you got but no explicit details for either (Meaning don't go past a PG-13 rating)
Bodies remain where they are once dead. You are allowed to move bodies if you have to.
5a. Do Zombies regenerate?
No. Once you kill a zombie, they stay dead
*If it will make your character feel better, you can always just burn the body
5b. Can we eat the zombies corpses or, for that matter, any of the corpses we find?
...No...and ew....
6. Are we using typical RP Stats?
Stats for HousepetZ: Survivors United will be under a 42 point system though there are special bonuses depending on your skill and/or if you are part of a faction
7. Is clothing allowed? Can our character have special additions, like a robotic arm or such?
All up to you how you want your character to look and, yes you can to the later, but no additions that can result in god-modding or the OPing your character
The factions do have uniforms, but they are optional
8. Where can we spawn?
Within Kantra or the Farmlands (If Survivor)
Woods surrounding Kantra (If Exotic)
Main Evac Safe House (If Military)
Stranded Unit somewhere within the city (If Military)
Wasteland (If a member of the MetalKnights or WildOneZ)
9. Why type of character can we be?
Your character should fall within one of three styles and, if you want at the outset, can be part of any faction of your chosen:

10. Going back to spawning, what is the layout of Kantra?
It is your typical city with stores, apartments, houses, buisnesses, malls, a city square, and a few docks.
Inside of the city are disjointed fortified towns, or forts. These forts are free of the undead, and though they are often attacked, they are considered safe.
There is also a 'Dead Zone', where the virus hit the hardest and only those wearing gas masks can enter
There are also vast woodland areas and farmlands (The farmlands are the only non-military zones that are free of undead)
11. What rules for this Zombie Thing is the RP following?
TVs and Internet still work (So you can have things to watch and play)
Zombies are standard George A Romero's zombies
Same time, there are only Zombies, no mutant creatures or such
12. Can we make our own guns and vehicles/modify existing guns and vehicles we find in the RP?
YEP! You can customize any weapon or vehicle you find to your hearts content, assuming you have some engineering skill.
Nearly anything goes here!* Want a tank? Up-armor a bulldozer and stick mounted guns on it. Want something crazier? Be creative!**
*Within reason of course, meaning no Nukes or weapons akin to Nukes.
**Of course, if you join or are part of either the MetalKnights or WildOneZ, then you get more bonuses, tools, options, and stuff to play with

(Though they do understand that not all factions/survivors can be trusted, but they are always willing to take a chance, and that all zombies should be killed on sight)

WildOneZ - Known for their love of big guns and even bigger explosions
Leader: Uncle Nitro aka Nicholas Trobain
Nightshade - A group of highly trained stealth operatives including ex-special forces soldiers, scouts, assassins, and spies.
These guys specialize in scouting and discrete operations.
If you want a group to get behind the enemy lines or carry out operations in the zombie infested wilderness, they are the people you call.
If you want to know more about an unexplored area, they are the people to explore it.
