that really depends on the player. I put thought into the personality and the background, but I just go with a generic appearance for the most part cause it's easier. Then I develop the personality more as I play the game.

Bottom line: vary the two personalities a bit more, maybe describe their appearance more, possibly add a collar and tag to both, then you should be good.
But wait to post until we're sure we have enough people to keep the RP going.

Edit: or... not? We still need at least one more player before we can say the RP isn't dead. And I was still questioning whether or not to do a time skip before introducing new characters.

sorry for the late guys , here's my CS , what do you guys think ?

Storm is a big lioness , about 1m8 high, with brown eyes , light yellow fur, a well-toned body , and a few scars . She wears a simple black collar , and a pendant shaped like a jade arrow head
- Personality –
Storm’s personality is kind of , no , it’s pretty much “up and down and all around” . She can be an energetic lioness who loves to go around , looking at places and doing fun outdoor stuff some days , while being really lazy some other days who just want to stay home and sleep . At best you can even catch her still hanging out even at midnight , if some place like the bookshop or the park still open and she has someone to hangout with , while at worst you would probably catch her still in her bed , snoring , at 3 in the afternoon , and no she hasn’t woke up that morning yet . Regardless of how she feels like , one thing is always right about Storm is that she loves hanging out with friends , whether to do something fun , or just talking , a reason for this , aside from the fact that it’s fun to have someone around , is that her memory works in a….strange way . For example , if someone asks her to help them with something , with enough instruction and explanation , she could probably do it ,and she would remember how to do that for probably for a few days , but if she stopped doing that for any longer than that , she will forget how to do it . The same thing happen with people she meets , if she hasn’t seen someone for a while she wouldn’t be able to remember their names , she would remember their face , and would recognize that they were once friends , but that’s about it , and for Storm , that’s one of the worst feeling there is , so she likes to stick to her friends , so she would never forget them.
-Back Story
Storm can barely remember anything about her life before she met her “dad”- Thomas Aldryd , a kind , if lonely , man around his 50s . In fact all she could remember is a jumble mess of images and sounds due to her amnesia . According to her dad he used to have an acquaintance , a wolf , back in his younger days , they were partners and rather good friends , until something happened and they parted ways on bad terms 20 years ago , and since she was a wolf , he’d never expected to see her again . Yet around 2 years ago , in a dark stormy night , she showed up at his doorstep , with Storm on her back , badly injured and unconscious . Without much choice , he let them in . the wolf stayed a few days , looked after Storm and helped Thomas tending to her wounds , yet never told him anything about who Storm was , what happened , among other things . The wolf then left after that , only hours before Storm woke up . At first Storm didn’t take it well , confused and depressed , knowing how she was different . She knew she wasn’t a pet before , and something bad happened to her , she didn’t know if there were someone she knows out there , she wanted to leave , to find out the truth, yet she never knew where to start . Time passes , and Storm slowly came to accept , and to be frank , quite enjoy living with Thomas , and decided to keep him company instead of thinking about the past that she would probably never gonna get back . As for Thomas , despite his initial fear about keeping a lion as pet , the man grew fond of Storm rather quickly and treated her like a daughter he never had . After he retired , they moved to EA , hoping Storm wouldn’t feel out of place there . Beside , their old neighbors and the authorities often made a fuss about her anyway , sooo….

Storm looks great, accepted. Met doesn't get to hang out much with other lions, I'm sure he'll like her.

alright, that means we do have enough players to keep this going, but I still want to wait until tomorrow to get started again. Since we have at least one more person who was interested and I still haven't decided if we're doing a time skip (We've asked hyper if he's okay with it since he's the only current player that's sticking around other than me and roo)

It's Exotic Acres still in need of characters?

Here are my two characters:

Character Name: Delilah Cu'cua (Q-qa)

Color: Dark Orange!

Type: Main

Species/Breed: Dhole

Age: 4 human year = 14 dhole years

Appearance: Delilah is mostly dark orange like most dholes while her belly and paws are a pristine white, her eyes being a dark blue. On her right ring finger, there is a silver ring. She wears silver ears rings and two silver bracelets on each arms. These silver rings mean that she is an adolescent back where she comes from. Due to an injury with falling out of a tree, Delilah has bandages wrapped around her chest, but the bandages wrapped around her arms, palms, and ankles are just for show.

Personality: Delilah is from a dhole tribe in India. The silver accessories about her are often confused with her being a rich little mansion pet, but its because of age, silver meaning that she is only a teenager in dhole years, though can sometimes be seen wearing a few of her bronze accessories from when she was a child. Other than that, Delilah is friendly and slightly confused on modern times. She will choose someone follow around to learn about such things of need be. She is quite strong, despite how she looks, and will judo toss anyone if threaten her, her friends, her family, or her brother.

Appearance: Mario's fur is dark dusty blond, while is paws are a lighter dusty blond. His long, gerbil-like tail has a silver ring around it while he wears silver ring on his front paws and earrings.

Personality: Mario is charismatic. He is from the same place as Delilah, who carries him around on her head, from a sister tribe of degu that lived with Delilah's tribe. His rings have the exact same meaning as Delilah's. Mario has a silver tongue and a sharp wit. He could con himself outta being eaten if Delilah wasn't there. He is also somewhat of a flirt, but will stop whatever he's doing if Delilah needs him. He's as loyal as dog to her.

What are we going to do now that Hotep's gone? We're not going to get much of a story from him.
Any suggestions for alternate arcs? The roos did offer a story too but I'm not sure how we'll get from Bandit and Cooper's place though.

Hi, everyone! Mickey here. Today is the last day I can post regularly before the week is over. I'll try my best to post, but it's not gonna be as speedy and consistent as normal. So, if need be, someone can take control of Delilah and Mario. Just be careful with... actually there's not a thing to say about these two. They seem to be my most well behaved characters in a way. 

I shrug and leave Delilah and Mario next to a Star Pipe before hoping back in the wormhole and leaving.

Name: Herodotus
Color: This One
Species: European Polecat
Gender: Male
Age: 7 Human / 25 Animal years
Appearance: Typical looking for his species. Wears a black collar with a golden tag, also wears a black belt with a pouch attached to the side where he carries anything he needs.
Personality: Still getting used to being a pet but he likes being spoiled (compared to what he had before). He isn't used to the friendliness of others, but like being a pet he has taken to the idea very fast and tries to be friendly himself. He spends his time trying to recover to what he was at before he was hit by a truck but the easy life is taking it's toll on him.
Background: When he was younger he was hit by a truck and injured badly. The driver of the truck was kind enough to stop and take Herodotus to the vets. After a few weeks of medical care he was able to recover, however, he would never be fit to be released back into the wild. The driver of the truck took pity on him and took him in as a pet.

Appearance: Typical looking for her species. Wears a black collar with a siver tag.
Personality: One of the most friendly and curious creatures anyone will probably meet. Never knew of the wild, only what it is like to be a pet. Usually spends her time pestering Herodotus but will occasionally go out on her own to see whatever there is to be seen.
Background: Her mother was killed in a hunting accident, when the hunter saw that the Polecat had a kit, he took it to the same vet Herodotus was being treated at. The driver of the truck took Laika in with Herodotus when the vet told him about the situation. Herodotus became Laika's father, even though since they are now pets there is nothing he can really teach her about living in the wild.

Gender: Male
Age: 28 years
Personality: Before hitting Herodotus all he cared about was living day to day focusing on himself. After he hit Herodotus though he realized that he just wrecked another creature's life and that changed his attitude to be more caring. Now he tries to be a more friendly person and more open too.
Background: Worked as a truck driver in England, making a deceit living. One night he hit a Herodotus, he took him to one of the nearby vets and they treated him. He went back a few days later and learned of the polecat's condition, he asked to take Herodotus in, and after filling out the paperwork he was granted the ability to keep Herodotus. After sorting that out he learned of Laika, and still feeling bad/guilty he also agreed to take her in too. Once he learned of Exotic Acres he decided to take them there so Herodotus and Laika could be more free.

one thing: could you make their text colors more different? the biggest purpose of text colors is to make it obvious which character is talking during a multi-character post. Those two colors are a little too close together.


other than that, does anyone else have any issues with these characters?

Okay, besides driving my OCD crazy, is there any other problems, I would be happy to fix them.

I don;t see any, but I've been known to miss some things before.
which is why I leave it to other players to express concerns. If no one's brought anything up by 24 hours after you posted your sheets then you can go ahead and make an introductory post
