Anyways.

My name is xhunterko. I got hooked on this comic reading it over my younger brothers shoulder whilst on vacation this summer. After we got back, it took me about a week, but I read through the archives when we got back. I like webcomics and this one had excellent writing so I kept reading. My first on the comic post was a couple of weeks ago. I wasn't going to join the forums, but then I had to mention my games and the post was removed. So I figured I should start a thread about them in the forums. And that's what led me here.

So, long story short, I'm a wannabe* independant game designer working by himself. I have a number of projects which I'll talk about in another post because someone was interested.

*because I only have 4 games and they're not that good

Is that better?

I guess a lot of people want to make games, and I am sure there are plenty here-- Including myself! Even though I made a few games myself, but I never finished any.

i'm actually taking computer programming, and we'll be learning to make games in flash
i wanna make a platformer were you play as a fox, and your power ups give you fire powers.

Wow, that sounds fun! Iv always wanted to do something like that. The closest iv seen someone do that was my friend who makes iphone apps for a living.

A really awesome Dota esque type game. Iv been playing a variant of it right now (league of legends, its free too!) and i find it pretty fun. My one complaint is that its graphics look too much like WoW but hey, thats one thing i would fix. Give it a darker, grittier, undertone, with some meaner more violent champions. Plus make some more maps too, 2 maps get old realllly fast.

Okay, so probably no one knew what i was just talking about ill do something a little more general.

Ill make a 2d side scroller. The main character will be a cross breed between Duke Nukem, Master Chief, that big roid raged hog man from gears of war, chuck norris, and techno viking. The amount of testosterone in that character could singe handily repopulate a whole planet. Not only would he be the epitome of the word "man" he would have access to thousands of different types of weapons. Including hats with strap on automatic grenade launchers that shoot nuclear grenades. He would also have a knife that can grow into a quadruple bladed mace sword that seethes with electricity and catches on fire on command. His special move would be called testosterone overload. Upon character death, the sheer amount of testosterone in his body will spontaneously cure every ailment in his body and re energize him.

All of this weaponry would be used against an evil alien race known as the Kardashians. They have killed every single planet in their galaxy and in their unquenchable thirst for delicious planet meat they have come to consume earth. It is up to our unnamed and very manly hero to stop them.
