In Health class last summer, one of our assignments was titled "Time Capsule Letter". I'd imagine whoever wrote it doesn't know anything about time capsules other than that they are related to time, because the assignment was to write a letter as yourself in the future to yourself in the present, from the perspective of your own parent.

So I think they got "time capsule" confused with "time machine"

odd, because something I did was more like a time capsule. in Freshman year, we wrote letters to ourselves in our Senior year. we could put any thing in them, including money. so last year, some people opened them and got free money.

I am my own older brother/sister and younger brother/sister. But actually through some bizarre parascientific process I ended up my own father/mother and son/daughter.

because with time travel (which is a logical process) one could sire themselves, but it would be a paradox. Paradoxes are impossible, but not illogical. Being a man while simultaneously being a woman is not logical though, because 1) one can only be one sex and 2) well there's not really a second fact I need to prove that

Oh right, and there are what they call alternate realities where you can be the opposite of your gender. Time travel is really complex after all and going "back in time" does not necessarily mean you are going back through YOUR timeline. That's why it's called the time-space continuum.

On that note though, plants are immune to the continuum because they're only either dead or alive.

That time travel as such has yet to be proven possible might be a hindrance, regardless of how logical it is

Besides who would try to extrapolate logic from time travel no self respecting person would try to map time travel to a logical process for example in a way resembling a diagram of multiple branching timelines from a film series
