I don't think Google's as trustworthy as some people seem to think; I also don't think Google's as untrustworthy as some people seem to think.

I absolutely hate google but use it all the time.
I especially hate the fact google has youtube.
If SOPA passes, nothing good about the internet will remain.

I have Chrome and like it pretty well. I barely use Internet Explorer now because it sucks.

Not much difference between Google search and Bing, regardless, I use Gmail, Google Docs and Google Plus quite a bit. We must admit, G+ was definitely a step up from Buzz or even *shudders* Wave.

Google adding 30 second, not skippable advertisements to youtube videos just makes me extremely mad. Yeah sure, there's adblock and other stuff to get rid of that but I really don't want to resort to those.
Internet explorer sucks but its the best in my opinion.
I still use google search engine, so I guess I'm a hypocrite.

I don't like IE, whatever page I come to write is completely incompatible with IE even though it even works on Opera and FF (not to mention Webkit browsers).

YouTube is free. Don't get spoiled!

IE is pretty much universally considered worse than Firefox and Chrome. I didn't know anyone actually preferred it!

I love Google as a search engine; that's about it.

I recently made a gmail address, but I never use it because Yahoo is just way more convenient, in my opinion. I also find it kind of annoying that Youtube and Google are connected because whenever I did log into my gmail, it'd automatically log me out of my Youtube because it's attached to my Yahoo account.

And I'm a Firefox fan myself. I've tried Chrome before, and it's nice, but I just like the overall look of Firefox better. I've also got a bit of an aversion to change, so that might have something to do with it. :p I can't stand IE though, which is why I got off of that ASAP. Lol.

I really like Google+; I wish it were more popular. I'd love if it could take over Facebook; all Facebook has is people. Google+ is pretty much 100% better in theory; it just doesn't have all my friends.

IE has some uses, like downloading FF! However, sometimes on a blue moon I come to a page where IE is needed...weird, you think some people would just design their page for FF.

I have had a site like that, it was actually a school site, where I had to use IE to turn in some of my assignments. The main website supported Firefox though.

Well, at least they haven't blocked Housepets! or the Housepets Forum. But, I prefer Safari and Firefox on my Mac.

Firefox and Chrome are both worth getting. If you have one of those, you're fine.

I guess Sleet was trying to say "let's not have a hostile discussion over Web browsers." What someone wishes to use is entirely personal preference and, while it's fine to talk about the advantages and detriments of various services, there's not any real reason to be smug or rude about it.

Is it really that good, because frankly Facebook stinks. I use Chrome meself, it just works. Plus I use Google Docs, and search, and images. I really use it quite often.

Google+ is much better-made. It's cleaner and less buggy. It just has fewer people on it.

More or less. I'm a Firefox user but I don't try to "convert" Chrome users. Just users who I think would notice a significant improvement should they switch to Firefox.

I've used both Chrome and Firefox. I use Chrome almost exclusively, but the only thing wrong with Firefox that I saw was that I wasn't familiar with it; so as far as I can tell they're mostly equivalent.

I don't mind YouTube ads, in theory. They're not even a minute long, and considering that the site is free, and that oftentimes a portion of the revenue goes to the person who made the video, they're really no big deal.

They only become really grating under two circumstances:

The ad is longer than the video
The same ad plays several times in a row

Or of course, you want to see a recording of said ad and you end up seeing that ad as the ad you were trying to see, followed by the YouTube video... Of the ad.

I like Chrome because manipulating the tabs is cool.
and stuff. Also it's what I'm accustomed to, where all my bookmarks are and such. I had to switch to Firefox for about a week and It was a pretty awful experience.
