Regardless, I can see where you're coming from. If it only popped up in places related to Skyrim and/or on occasions in which the writer is mentioning something they used to do, it would make sense, but it doesn't really have much of a purpose if you throw it around everywhere, because you could apply it to any sentence with a couple small tweaks.

In fact, I used to apply it to every sentence with a couple small tweaks, but then I took an arrow to the knee. I was going to propose to the internet that it should be used in moderation, but then I took an arrow to the knee. Can you see how that gets old fast? I used to be able to, but then I took an arrow to the knee. I also used to think I had gotten my point across well enough at this point, but then I took an arrow to the knee.

Snark aside, there are, like with most memes, clever ways to use it, but the way some people abuse it is quickly getting old.

Going to a random YouTube video and saying "I used to [do something done in the video], but then I took an arrow to the knee." doesn't make any sense, because the only connection between the joke and the video is the dispensable part.

but he also says "Parakeet." (and here I shall make note of the absence of an s) I didn't know if feathers had any sort of way that work like fur in which the colors could change seasonally. Or maybe parakeet is the plural. Also, they don't have a cage around them and I guess they could just have their wings clipped or he owns a very large cage or maybe it's like that one thing where the pets just come and go as they please and they're not actually his or maybe they're at an aviary or something.

right i totally ignored this because i forgot what my signature was and didn't think it was addressed to me

those parakeets are different parakeets, wild parakeets at that, and i do not actually pose with parakeets. it's a inside joke referring to a bad dream that a friend of mine had a while back. while in the dream the phrase seemed ominous and scared the crap out of him (ah, dreams), we pretty much agree that it's hilarious and ridiculous.

I don't want to make a political discussion. but I doubt that it will be able to pass. Congress has to know that there will be a backlash to it.

They're not actually going to be voting on it when it next goes in, guys, it's just going in to be rewritten. Of course, it seems the entire method they're attempting with the bill itself is off to me and they should drop it in general, but whatever, US law is not exactly my domain for commentating.

I've only seen like half an episode of Family Guy, so i don't feel justified in giving muck of an opinion on it, but I will say that I really don't like the animation style. It looks bland and uninspired to me.

Well I find that when I have Lucky Charms, there are always children chasing me so they can eat what is rightfully mine.

and I think that rabbit is utterly ridiculous to be going after Trix cereal, because it is clearly intended for a younger consumer, most likely below the age of 18.
