I blame myself, I really do. This corruption, it spreads like wildfire, angering men across the globe. I have turned many to the path of way, and I hoped to not do that here, but it seems to be happening already. I'm sorry Tensa.

again, freshman angst.
Highschool is scary.
People change, you change, and you find your little niche. But it takes time, that time is stressful and angst filled.
I'm not saying that your angst means more or less than anyone else's, but it is something common that eventually goes away as you get a clearer idea of who/what you really are.

I dunno, that may indeed be a deeper problem, it'll become clearer as you get older and wiser.
But it too will pass, I went through a second bout of freshman angst this semester(Freshamn angst two:Seth goes to college)
It's simple, transition is scary and it often sucks, but it's a transition and thus temporary.

I hate when people make labels for stuff like "senioritis" or "freshman syndrome." It really just encourages those feelings. People are less likely to feel them if they aren't constantly told to expect to.

On the flip side, some people take labels like that as a challenge and do everything in their to power to -not- fit in with the stereotype.

Also, like most stereotypes, things like "senioritis" are at least loosely based in fact. It's a fact that people will tend to shut down towards the very end of high school, if for no other reason than anxiety to move on from high school into the next stage of life (be that college, work, or living in their parents' basement). Sure, creating titles like that probably doesn't help the situation, but the stereotype was created because of the way people tended to act at that age, not the other way around.

Oh, certainly. Plenty of people do. I was just trying to bring some perspective, that's all. :)

Edit:
nothing really, Sophmore and junior year dont really have any stereotypes attatched to them, at least not where I'm from.
Unless you count the fact that most Sophmores like to make fun of the "freshies" for being one year younger than them. :p

Here, ninth grade is considered part of junior high school and housed in their building; junior high is made up of eighth and ninth grades. The lowest high school "rank" is tenth grade/sophomore. No harassment of freshmen 'cause they're several miles away from everyone else. = P
