You can't just add willy-nilly, though- don't you use one image from each comic you read, and then various pictures of your hypothetical selves of both genders?

For example, the exception to the law of conservation of matter is that I can erase matter from existence with my laser vision.

I think laser vision is one of the most over-hyped super powers. You can only use it if you can see the other person, it can be defeated with a mirror, and no one has yet to explain why your eyes don't melt when you use it.

I've always assumed that "laser vision" was just a figurative term, and that the energy coming out of ones eyes were not literally laser beams.

But here's a thought- wouldn't laser vision worth anything be able to cut through things, like walls and doors and such? So, if you had such a powerful laser, would it reflect off of a mirror or just cut through it? I'm hardly a scientist, so I don't know.

It always bothered me that cartoons assumed any sort of beam-shaped attack would bounce off a mirror, seems to me that if you had a freeze-ray or some such, and shot it at a mirror, the mirror would just freeze.

It always bugged me too, but seeing as it's a made up power, we have to go with the parameters set up by the people who created it, and THEY all say that if you happened to be admiring yourself, laser beams will never hurt yourself.

vanity is a NON-deadly sin.

Cheaters can win, it's just not very much fun, unless you're turning the challenge to get away with cheating into a game of itself.

The problem is there's very few opportunities to do that without serious consequences; If you're cheating at something trivial (like, say, anagram puzzles), there's probably minimal effort to stop you so there's not much of a challenge, but cheating at something where the legitimacy of the outcome is actually important (gambling, elections, tournaments, quite a few other things) is both more difficult and not exactly ethical.

If you're good enough at cheating, you can become a magician. Which is a respectable career.

In an unrelated note

I find this strip much funnier when the the panels are read in reverse order.

Also, have you ever noticed that the characters are, like, bipedal, and can talk and stuff? Also there's that purple cat? I mean come on, how hard is it to do a little research?

Well obviously the comic is set in a alternate universe in the distant future where aliens genetically modify animals to walk and have anime fur (because aliens love anime, don't you know), but then a freak accident happened and all the aliens and knowledge of them is destroyed but humans are still alive and rebuilt society and that's why Anime Bosom X is the best show ever

I have no idea what's going on right now but I think that it's ok to make one post about aliens every now and then. According to the rules, I suppose we can say that it's ok for Roll to spout one Housepets based Alien joke, not mentioned in the rules or anything. Either way, maybe we shouldn't talk too much about the comic in the forum made specifically to talk about non comic related stuff.

Anyway, it's OK, Yehoshua. Things are pretty loose in here. At least until something like this happens so much it becomes a problem or the other thread stops getting posts because of it.

I wasn't telling him he had done anything wrong. I just thought he would be interested in knowing we have a thread for that. In case he wanted to make more wild guesses. Generally speaking though, anything can go in this thread that doesn't break the rules, because the topic will usually change to something else.
