I see... Hmm... Well let's just say my friends literally need to have every single last detail about EVERYTHING lolz xD ...my friends hurt my brain sometimes with their annoying questions :3

One of my best friends is a Furry and no one seems to care. He isn't very secretive about it either.

My now stalker ex girlfriend is a furry and she keeps calling me her 'foxy fox' and it scares me a LOT... She was never secretive about it, either...

Then you can just explain if they ask. But there's no need to go out of your way to explain things. Heck, you can explain it without ever saying "furry."

If people knew I am a furry, they would just say "Well its Evan, he's already weird enough" even my teachers have accepted that I'm odd. My English teacher has stopped telling me to stop sitting on the desks.

Pfft, I used to sit on desks all the time. Animals don't sit on things properly, so that's just yet another furryism!

Yeah, I always got yelled at for sitting on desks. Sit backwards on the desk, feet in the attached chair, talk to people behind me. Fun.

I never sat on the desks... I laid down on the chairs

I didn't get in trouble for sitting on the desk, but rather for falling asleep laying across them before school started.

So! A funny thing happened today at band practice. Everyone was milling around, talking, goofing off ... in general, making good use of the last five minutes before we actually had to do work. So, I grabbed my trumpet, set it down, and made my way over to a cluster of my friends standing over by the tuba cabinet. A few greetings and several hugs later, whilst were discussing various and sundry topics, I happened to glance down at my friend Drew's hand. It looked like he'd doodled something on the back of it. Turned out to be a brightly colored anthro cat. Which he let me take a picture of.



I immediately went, "Oh, cool! =3", and the cat on the back of Drew's hand became our main topic of conversation for the next few minutes. He said that he drew to be a sort of avatar for the trumpet section, and that he'd thought of characters for the other sections as well. The ones I remember were a lizard for the snare drum, another lizard (but gooier-looking, I guess) for the bass drum, a pair of birds for the saxophone, a wolf in a suit for the tuba; two sharks, one for the clarinet and one for the flute, and a fox for the trombones.

By that point, this was all sounding very familiar for some reason. Then, I realized that the cat on Drew's hand looked an awful lot like another character I'd seen before ...



THEN I finally figured out why the lineup he'd given me sounded familiar. All the species and descriptions he'd mentioned fit Renard Queenston's cast to a T. (Basically, it's furry-themed electronic music. One guy makes all of the songs, but creates a bunch of different furry avatars for the different styles he does).

And then there was this exchange, as we were leaving the field for our water break:
Him: "I'm probably gonna need to wash this off my hand; my dad got **** off when he saw it yesterday.
Me: "Really, Why?" [mentally: Furry hater. Definitely. :/] Him: *shrugs and keeps walking"

So, the short version of this rambling mess: [rorschach] Possibly furry? Must remember to investigate further. [/rorschach] x3

Oh! Then there's the tenor sax girl whose satchel has a picture of a chibi fox going 'om-nom-nom' on it. And she seemed to get very excited when someone mentioned having a picture of me wearing cat ears at the mall ... So that makes two of my fellow band geeks that are probably furries. Totally wearing my fox ear hat to practice on Tuesday. =P

I wouldn't jumped to conclusions, he might just like the Music.
And the Girl most likely enjoys Japanese stuff.

Also I have heard Furries in a Blender. It was pretty good.

True, though the guy never actually mentioned the music; I had to deduce that for myself. Valid points. I'm still gonna wear the hat. =P

Reminds me of a few weeks ago. Went to a Tiesto show and saw a girl dancing around with a tail and an ear hat of some sort. I giggled whenever she passed by.

It was kind of dark with many pulsating lights. All I could really see was the tail/ears. So not sure.

not all furries have a fursona, but all people who want a fursuit are furries. unless they're a mascot of some sort. are you a mascot?
