Once again. I am not on the list...
Re: The 12 Days of Chat Thread
That is a rather odd list. Where'd you get it from, Sleet?

Psykeout: They share a class. Mammalia. Otters are order Carnivora and rats Rodentia.
Coffee: Haha. He's a human.
Copper: WikiFur. It's not a perfect study, of course, since furries are hard to quantify, but it looks pretty reasonable to me.

Actually, otters are quite a bit larger, have fur on their tails, and are much better swimmers than rats.CoffeeJunkie wrote:They're both tiny, have whiskers, and have tails?KalloonWhite wrote:I'm a rat, which isn't even slightly related to otters!

A capibara would not be mistaken for a chihuahua. It's way too big.

What, Sleet? Are you saying that two-thirds of the world population has a wolf fursona? I find that hard to believe...

I'm guessing squirrel-cylon hybrids are not terribly common.

Pretty accepted. Most of us are carnivores anyway and for the most part the herbivores don't mind as long as we don't try to eat them.CoffeeJunkie wrote:But wolves are carnivorous prey feasters how are they accepted into the furry world?

Any carnivore nevertheless inclined to try Squylon meat would find they had bitten off more than they could chew.

Re: The 12 Days of Chat Thread
So Furries are called furry because of the fur... Are lizards and fishes called Scalies?

Re: The 12 Days of Chat Thread
There usually aren't a lot of fish, but reptiles are frequently called scalies, yes. Of course, they're also furries, since it's the name of the fandom. It's a subset, if you will.

Re: The 12 Days of Chat Thread
Which is not a practice I exactly support, but "fursona" is alright with me because it kind of has a unique and frequently used meaning.
