Is his Mana still strong enough though? Surely Tarot or Kit has some kinda Spell they can concoct to grant someone that kind of Size and Strength to keep him busy while they escape.

just might be going a little furry

At least he’s keeping families
together wherever he can.
It points to some small decency.
Estrangement is not quite his plan.

I'm gonna assume this form is gonna be permanent for him, which could possibly result in him getting dragged below with the other Demons once the resolution happens. I do hope he wasn't fused with Trinket in this form though (or she has a Demonic form like him too, but more unwillingly), cuz then that means she'd have to go down with him too...

I tend to think that he and Trinket are fused, but that she's not a completely willing part of this. I tend to think that she'll be herself again when this is all over.

I knew it was going to be back within this month, but I was expecting more Monday as day of its return.

Steward as demon has the power to turn every human into animals...

It was pretty predictable, anyway. Eh, who expects to see any kind of apocalypse?

I see, Tarot, and it's much harder to believe a dog who says to be a prophet.

But, didn't Tarot get out from the car before it got lifted and crushed by Demon-Steward? Maybe then giant demon gently carried her and put her inside.

Seeing Tarot in the car when she wasn't I'm assuming she realized she when she had no spell to stop Steward she realized there was nothing to prevent him from squashing her so she teleported back into the car to prevent that.

Yes, well, the main reason they hired him was his name was Steward, so yeah.

Didn't Rick mention somewhere that he's got like 100 pages figured out? I suspect this story arc will be a lot more detailed and complicated than maybe previous ones.

WRT Tarot being back in the car, we don't know how long it has been since the last panel. It could be several hours.

It would be interesting to see (at least in my opinion), but I don't think it'll happen. Steward's plan is to crash the ECP by transforming everyone into animals, causing the Miltons to lose all their money in order to achieve the same rights these former humans had. Besides this, I guess his powers are based on the coin and its curse was "no human hands can touch it", meaning that he couldn't turn any animals into humans.

It never really made that much sense. I mean, even if he managed to turn enough people to start to become a serious drain on the Miltons you'd expect other, like the government, to step in.

But what little sense that his plan had just went out the window once higher powers got interested. I doubt further transforming was in the original blueprints for Steward.

I love how the tag on the page says "Innocent Bystanders" for all the people getting turned into animals. I know that is what they are but it amuses me for some reason.
