Mungo and Fox are sent to rule the school;
despatched by Sergeant Ralph and Tinnear;
to tell of escapades and how things work
(I think that Fox is lying is clear)
You don’t always get the challenge you want
but they’ll give you what you’re most suited for.
They know you’ll get away without much harm
(and they’ve sent Terrance and Kevin before)
At least it’ll be over and done soon,
then you’ll get back to the easier stuff.
When challenged on the wildest street, at least,
you have the given right to get quite tough...

Oh thank God. I was beginning to experience Housepets! withdrawls.

Yeah, good to see some being posted again,

Great comic Tinnier, I like the tail wag at the end and the impressive background, clever use of opacity (an often overlooked tool).

I love how chill Mungo is at the end. Poor Fox. Great job, Tinnier.

Nicely done, Obbl. Brought back all the joys (?) of having to do school visits to fourth grade classes and talk about history stuff.

Lesson - bring props. At best, kids find things more interesting than narratives. At wort, if you have to fight your way out you have a weapon or two handy. ;)

Again guest comics time! :D Oh yeah, now that's a real and tough challenge! :o :? Well, usually every dog likes children, but for Fox is an exception, you need lot of patience with them... :roll: Mungo can take a breathe and be happy, at least, he was thinking of something more dangerous. :) Eh, very boring... Math is funnier? Is that child ok? :P There aren't police-cats because they don't take orders. ;)
Very good work, Tinnier, and it's nice to see the website activity back. :D

If this was canon then it probably confirms that Fox is not a big fan of kids. Some can be real terrors but its rare that its a whole classroom at least in my experience.

I really hope Fox washes his face even though it was just a tiny spitball that hit him on the cheek. That still is insanely gross. :|

What I like about this is it's more or less how I see the characters. Mungo is mostly fearless but I think he'd be a bit nervous about the unknown. If Ralph had told him about the assignment, either meeting kids or being point in a raid, he'd be fine. Fox is so focused on being a hero that he's fearless going in, but might be a bit nervous with children who he can't exactly detain.

Nice work all around!

Mungo is honestly the last person I'd call "fearless" but YMMV.

As long as you don't come at him with a syringe that has any sort of liquid in it, you should be fine with him as he is really tough.

It's back to school for Mungo and Fox,
And yeah, I know, it really rocks
Your senses, your mind, and your body,
But have a good lesson, one not too shoddy.

Fox, life isn't that summer blockbuster,
So grin and bear with all you can muster,
And math is funner, oh that's not good,
So will they flee? Fox wishes they could.
You're a wonderful person! You can do this! Yes, you, person reading this!
