Then it looks like if they do I won't be happen that they were forced into it.

I've thought for a while that Marion would remain as he is as a part of some kind of voluntary sacrifice, possibly to save Lois or to allow the other victims a chance at being human again. I tend to think that, by the end of the arc, Marion and Lois will choose to remain as they are for a good reason. A reason that is not yet clear.

As I said before if it is a choice for them and they aren't forced into it I will be fine with it. It looks like Marion might choose though to stay from the evidence in this strip.
