Kitsune prepares the ground troops
whilst Euodant prepares the base;
he knows there may come a time now
where deities are face to face.
Are they still in the train station
or have they moved to the manor?
Which destination is it that
Todd should put the cars’ planner?
Steward’s finds he has no power;
even Trinket’s deserted him.
He may be turned on the Demons;
a turn that tells things are quite grim

Part of me wonders if someone's going to stumble on the lair while it's still unfinished, and Kitsune just gets to completely ambush them because of it.

Love your color choices, Eudoant - nothing says demonic like "High School Detention Hall Lavender".
Re: 2021/02/08 - Behind The Scenes
I see the little dino demon is putting his evil skills to use by painting. No more evil task in the world.

How petty grudges can spiral way, way out of control.

Interesting color choice for a lair, Eudoant. Though if that's all you got accomplished in two weeks, pretty sure the folks of Babylon Garden's have nothing to worry about

In Eudoant’s defense he had to file a bunch of permits, he might be a demon from Heck, but he’s not taking on bureaucrats. Also, and I hate to be a Monday morning quarterback but maybe he should’ve recruited more minions to help him with the lair work. Meanwhile, Steward continues to think this may not have been such a good idea, and our Dino demon is painting. I wonder what task our deer demon has picked out for Trinket. I don’t see the magpie in the lair.

Perhaps Trinket, seeing the errors of their ways, booked it out of there (like a bat out of hell...sorry, couldn't resist) and is searching for Team Kitsune?trekkie wrote: ↑Mon Feb 08, 2021 7:13 am In Eudoant’s defense he had to file a bunch of permits, he might be a demon from Heck, but he’s not taking on bureaucrats. Sounds like a neat plot-device Rick could use.

It wouldn't surprise me to learn that the Infernal realm is a highly bureaucratic society and that paperwork competes with forging pointless chains as an eternal make-work for the residents of Pandemonium.trekkie wrote: ↑Mon Feb 08, 2021 7:13 am In Eudoant’s defense he had to file a bunch of permits, he might be a demon from Heck, but he’s not taking on bureaucrats. Could be, a defector would be handy (pawsy?) for our demon hunters.SeanWolf wrote: ↑Mon Feb 08, 2021 8:38 amPerhaps Trinket, seeing the errors of their ways, booked it out of there (like a bat out of hell...sorry, couldn't resist) and is searching for Team Kitsune?trekkie wrote: ↑Mon Feb 08, 2021 7:13 am In Eudoant’s defense he had to file a bunch of permits, he might be a demon from Heck, but he’s not taking on bureaucrats. Trinket has neither hands nor paws...
Re: 2021/02/08 - Behind The Scenes
So, have been already two weeks since the arriving of the demons on earth... It's worrying that their defeating could even take months... Eheh, in these two weeks Eudoant hasn't prepared much, you're all still painting that room. You wished it was like that, Steward. Eudoant is a demon, not a wizard. And then, he's forcing Steward and the little black demon to work, otherwise, he'll crack the whip...

Guess Lois might be giving Eudoant a bit too much credit when it comes to how prepared the demons actually are. Though she would be a fool to count them out as being dangerous because they are bad at managing time.

We may eventually learn that Trinket has a "Starling" role in resolving the plot.
Re: 2021/02/08 - Behind The Scenes
She won't even have to move like the wind to help the gang catch Eudoant off guard, they'd be lucky to complete the lair by the end of the month.

This is why relative time is a bad idea because when you end up moving to the Earth you never know how much time you have.
Re: 2021/02/08 - Behind The Scenes
I think the implication is that some demons start wrecking things as soon as they leave, while others stay dormant, their machinations lay undetected for years.
Re: 2021/02/08 - Behind The Scenes
Be Prepared, yeah, Steward's no Scout,
And the dino has paint, not grout,
As they try to prepare themselves a lair
And the badger, badgered, says it's not fair.
They've had months, days to get ahead,
But everyone can just scratch their heads,
Things aren't magic(k) here on Earth,
So what's a badger's soul worth?
And the dino has paint, not grout,
As they try to prepare themselves a lair
And the badger, badgered, says it's not fair.
They've had months, days to get ahead,
But everyone can just scratch their heads,
Things aren't magic(k) here on Earth,
So what's a badger's soul worth?
You're a wonderful person! You can do this! Yes, you, person reading this!

Which is because their machinations are so tiny and slight that at first glance it doesn't really seem to be as devastating as they are until some time down the line.

Was your band any good for a college band? Sounds like a cool name.
