I think that, in a way, Mungo is too clueless to get offended. He's so focused on making sure that Fox is well settled that little seems to penetrate his skull. Also, it's not wrong to assume that Fox is hurting on some level, and lashing out is not uncommon. Mungo knows this. It would take some serious words to offend him. I'm not sure Fox has the words that would be needed to do so.

On a side thought, since Mungo really needs more help with the practiccal side of therapy it seems, perhaps he should look up a few founders of the field. Perhaps Freud can give him a few tips....
