I saw this drawn in the stream, and I didn't notice the clearing is the same location in both panels.

I guess that the town is still there, but now the only intelligence is Craig, Draig, Kitsune and Euodent. Maybe a couple others.

So, I guess all the mortals got shunted into a safe pocket dimension so that the demon problem can be dealt with

But Craig and Draig aren't mortal...

Wishful thinking, but what if Cerb joins in on this Battle? IDK why, but I kinda want her to be the first one they see. Like, a Demon is about to attack the two, and outta nowhere, she comes in and saves them.

Yeah, she may seem aloof and even a touch uncaring, but threaten anyone she cares about (and I'm sure she cares for the kits) and the teeth come out.

Given that the Displacement Quarantine's making everything all peachy for the cast that we've seen so far and it's been a while since we've seen Eudoant and Co, I wonder whether the bottom panel's more of a) overactive imagination kicking in now that the two demigods kits are alone or b) Heck is already beginning to rain down on BG.

(Though scenario b assumes that the "minutes" that Kix was talking about falls into Heaven's subjective time rules, so that's probably out of the picture.)

Either way for the time being, rip the scenario of Kix finding into Pete and Dragon in the den

Ok so are they in another like... realm(?) that looks the same? Is the battle between heaven and hell going to take place there? Did Kitsune take them there? SO MANY QUESTIONS RICK

Hmm... Left Behind. Is it worth watching to get the reference (and don't worry, I got the reference)? Better yet, will there be a Rifftrax version? Maybe I'd watch that. If Rick played it during one of his live streams then I missed it, sorry.

Ink, too, has gone through having a kit in peril so she's gonna be over following with empathy for Kix right along with Jessica. Actually, despite being somewhat ditsy, Truc and Falstaff are pretty kindly in their own cautious, slightly cracked fashion.

What happens when you cross the edge of the displacement zone? What does it look like from the outside? What happens to Internet access?

Judging by the Roman numeral it looks like Craig and Draig are going to have their own arc within an arc.

Part of me is wondering if the reason why Craig and Draig didn’t get moved to the pocket dimension where everything people want to happen goes their way is because Kitsune needs them to help and will temporarily turn them back into their Celestial forms.

If they do a good job, maybe he might shave some time off their sentences?

Aww, poor kits, so scared. But, I wonder if they walked by themselves in that dark part of the woods, or if they got ported there by someone or something... Probably it's the second case. Eh, Jessica, you always think alternative. Kix and Custom Ink think in that way just because they're mothers. Really looking forward to what's going to happen to Craig and Draig...

I doubt it. They still got years to go, and their contract isn't going to be broken AFAIK. I dont see Angels/heaven/the divine doing that like devils would though.

Fun fact, her fox name is LITERALLY welsh for "dragon". I just dont know what craig's means, or if it means anything at all.

Also, do demigods actually have a sex? Or do they choose whatever sex they feel like? If so, why does dragon call griffin dude "brother"? Wouldn't it be "sibling" as that would be more honest, as sex doesn't technically exist for them? If it does (indicated by them being brother & sister, which to me implies parents, again just a me thing), then I really tempted to call her something a little more personal and a actual nickname, because it's just strange ALL of the demigods have names and hers is just a species + state of being. She is clearly NOT the only "spirit" + "dragon" (I counted :, her, bahamut, and one throw-a-way one that appears in tarot's panel when she still served spirit dragon) and while you can say since no others will show up and all others will have names it's ok, I still she should have a actual name, and not a description as a name (imo).

An exclusion zone was created. Every mortal within the exclusion zone was transported into a poor facsimile of the reality they were displaced from. Craig and Draig were clearly allowed stay within the exclusion zone because of their former deity status. However this meant that from their perspective everyone else suddenly disappeared, and from everyone else's perspective Craig and Draig suddenly disappeared. Note that both panels depict the same location. Panel 1 is the false world and panel 2 is the real world.

Thank you for this elaboration. I originally assumed the two worlds were switched; panel 1 was the real world, panel 2 was the false world, and Craig and Draig just missed the boat. I think it was the darkness shift in the second panel. It sort of reminded me of the "Upside Down" from Stranger Things.

So the bad world is the real world? Then why do they act as if suddenly everything dark, and the birds were gone suddenly? Does this mean marion didn't get accepted into a real college? What is going on?

Everyone ELSE has been moved to a 'safe place to let the high and low places to fight it out. Those two are still connected, soul wise, to the high place so they got left behind.

It's only dark compared to the place everyone else got sent to. For Craig and Draig, the lighting hasn't changed at all.

They're frightened because the birds are, in the Housepets universe, sapient like every other animal, so they got moved to the quarantine place - from their perspective the entire forest just went totally silent for no apparent reason.

Birds going silent all of a sudden is often a sign there is danger around. The kits, for the moment, only know that. As far as they know, a large predator is near.

I wonder how he will take it when he finds out that he wasn't really accepted in and is only in a place where his wish to go to college is granted?
